Stopped by Dave’s Hot Chicken on Queen St. and tried two combos — one spicy and one not spicy. The non-spicy chicken was tender, juicy, and full of flavor, definitely a solid option if you want the taste without the heat. The spicy chicken, though, was extremely hot — way beyond what we expected. If you’re not used to very high spice levels, it can be overwhelming, so it’s better for those who really love a challenge. Both combos came with fries, coleslaw, and bread, and the portions were generous. The fries were crispy and well seasoned, and the coleslaw helped cool things down. Service was quick and friendly, and the restaurant itself had a casual, modern vibe with plenty of seating. Prices are fair for the amount of food you get. Overall, it’s a great spot if you’re craving fried chicken, but be cautious with the spice levels — the hot options are no joke!

I’ve been to multiple locations for Dave’s Hot Chicken, both in Canada and U.S. so far this location has the greatest customer service and their food was 10/10. The cashier was very welcoming and friendly, unfortunately i didn’t get the chance to ask for his name and thank him, but whoever was there on Sunday, June 8 after 8:00pm you are one of the nicest cashiers i met. Thanks you for a great experience.

I tried Dave’s Chicken on a friend’s recommendation, and it was absolutely delicious! The tenders were crispy, spicy, and full of flavor, and the fries were great too. It’s mainly a takeout spot, as the dine-in experience wasn’t very comfortable. Busy place!!

First time trying Dave’s hot chicken I ordered the chicken tender and chicken slider combo. It was made fresh to order. Seasoned very well, coleslaw was such an added church to the slider, fries very crunchy and hot.

Tried Dave’s Hot Chicken for the first time with four friends this past Sunday, and we were all impressed! The service was amazing—friendly staff and our order was delivered exactly in 10 minutes, just as promised. We ordered the 10 Tender Box with both medium and hot flavors. Everything was fresh, crispy, and full of flavor. The spice levels were great and the chicken was juicy. That said, one thing to note—the chicken was very salty, which might not be for everyone. But overall, it was a fun and tasty experience. Definitely worth trying if you’re into bold flavors and quick service but I would not return again as it was way too salty for all of us.
