10/10 experience! Dave’s Hot Chicken did not disappoint. The chicken was fresh, juicy, and perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of heat. The tenders were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the flavor was on point from the first bite to the last. The fries were seasoned well and paired perfectly with the sauce. Service was quick and friendly, and the food came out hot and fresh. Definitely a go-to spot when you’re craving flavorful hot chicken. I’ll absolutely be back!

Message to the Owner I need to bring a serious issue to your attention regarding the behavior of your manager, Jeremy. What happened today was so unprofessional and disrespectful that it genuinely shocked me. My order was delivered missing two Reaper sandwiches—a simple mistake, but the way your manager handled it turned it into a much bigger problem. When I called the store to get the issue fixed, Jeremy hung up on me in the middle of my explanation. No apology. No attempt to help. Just hung up. When I called back, the front counter employee checked with him about compensation, and his response was: “No, we’re not doing that. We would lose money.” So your manager openly admitted that correcting a mistake your team made is “losing money,” but somehow it’s perfectly fine for me to lose money, time, and gas to drive back to your store because they shorted my order? When I arrived at the store, it got even worse. The employee asked Jeremy to come talk to me, and he said: “I don’t have time for him.” A manager refusing to talk to the customer his staff inconvenienced is unbelievable. I was left waiting while the front desk looked confused and embarrassed, because even they could see how wrong the situation was. In the end, someone in the back came out I think it was the chef as he had a chef hat. The chef listened, was respectful, and actually cared. He handled what Jeremy refused to deal with. That alone says a lot about who is actually keeping your store together. I’m writing this directly to the owner because Jeremy’s behavior wasn’t a small mistake — it was a complete failure of basic customer service, professionalism, and leadership. No manager should treat any customer like that, and no business should tolerate a manager who can’t handle a simple conversation without hanging up, refusing to help, or hiding in the back. This experience ruined my day, but more importantly, it signals a major problem in your management. I hope you address this, because if this is how Jeremy treats customers, he is driving people away from your business.

Service was fast. Our order taken immediately. It is nice and clean. Lots of table to sit and eat. I love the design of the walls. Food was delicious, chicken was crunchy as we wanted it.

The chicken sandwiches were so yummy. The “hot” level chicken had just the right amount of heat for us, and were big and juicy. The fries were also delicious. The only complaints were that there was no hand soap in the restroom, and we couldn’t find a single clean table to sit at. Had to clean one ourselves. Still, we’ll be coming back for the food.

Quick tip: if you want consistently crispy and juicy hot chicken, the locations closer to downtown and the one on Gulf fwy are *much* better. I made a pickup order ahead of time like 10 min in advance and it was surprisingly ready for pickup when I got there. Usually the other locations let me wait a few minutes but I know with them theirs is hot and fresh. The tenders were ok but weren't as crispy and juicy as I usually get; I got hot and extra hot. Also, my fries were cold and floppy, like they've been ready for the past 4 hours. Pair that with the lower avg Google rating compared to other Dave's and it looks like these guys need to step it up
