We went to REI down the block, checked on Google Maps, and saw that Dave’s Hot Chicken with a 4.9. So we had to try it. Paloma was behind the counter and she was awesome helping us. With a cordial smile and eager to help us choose from the menu. Food was good, fresh. I chose the mild chicken tender and the hot slider. I thought both tasted the same, hot was not spicy at all. The Dave Sauce was good. Fries were excellent. I’m with other folks giving reviews where Dave’s Hot Chicken allows us to choose different spices in chicken. Over all good food and even better service. I would come back again. Thanks Dave’s Hot Chicken!!! And great job Paloma!!!

Dave’s Hot chicken not only has variety they also allow you to to have autonomy over the whole selection process. The food was delicious and customer service was excellent. It’s truly a gem for downtown Denver. Check them out, and ask for Alejandro!

Finally got a chance to experience daves hot chicken an i had to do it twice . This place definitely did not disappoint, I had the sliders , fries an a ore shake . This chick was big , cook to perfection , full of flavor an very very juicy , the coleslaw on top took the sandwich from a 5 star to a 6 star , and the shake was packed full of oreos... its a 10/10 for me definitely

Chicken was absolutely tasty and flavor and fresh. French fries were fresh as well and had good flavor to it. My husband and son tried the reaper flavor, and said it was good flavor but very hot (spicy). They signed the waiver and enjoyed the spicy flavor. I would highly recommend anyone to come try this place if they have not already, next trip back to Denver this restaurant is definitely on the list to come eat at again.

The chicken tenders were great. Juicy meat, crunchy batter and the sauce that went with it was divine. I was kinda disappointed with the spice level though. I got the medium expecting it to be decently spicy considering I have a low tolerance for it but it was barely noticeable to me. Service was particularly fast as well.
