Allen's Fried Chicken

I ordered a Takeout from here, despite reading the Reviews on Google...

I got the Family Mix Bucket for £21 and was impressed with the amount of Food we got.

We wanted to amend our Order but couldn't do so through Uber, so my Partner rang the Takeaway and a Man answered. He sounded like he couldn't care less and wasn't very skilled in basic Customer Service. However, he did amend our Order and we received it all Perfectly.

The Chicken and Chips were Lovely, the Skin came right off. The Hot Wings were Spicy, but I was hoping for Wings that had been dipped in Hot Sauce rather than a Spicy Batter. The Spicy Chicken Burgers were okay, the Spicy sauce had an Overpowering taste but it was Edible.

Overall, its not bad for a late night Takeout as it is open till around 4am. The Food is Average, but its worth the Money.

Waste of money. I asked for 4 bbq wings and all they did was literally give me 4 normal wings and poured/drenched bbq sauce over it which made it inedible. What a waste of £4

Last night staff did nothing, even when called to assist during a homophobic attack by one of their customers. If there was a rating for lack of humanity, then they'd come top of the class. For goodness sake, have some common decency and morals.

Where do I begin, Allen’s fried chicken has been there for me through many hard times. I appreciate everything it’s done for me. Never in a million years did I think entering Allen’s Fried chicken on that random rainy night would change my life for the better.

Firstly, I would like to thank the staff for creating such a loving, welcoming and safe space for other chicken lovers like myself. They always know what I want and always deliver beyond my expectations. I am always greeted with a smile and I always leave feeling content and satisfied.

My go to Allen’s order would be the popcorn, chips, cheese and gravy meal with a Rio as a drink. This meal is so full of flavour and I can tell it has been made with love. They give a perfect amount of chips and popcorn chicken and the gravy is out of this world. One of my favourite meals for such a reasonable price. I have recently ventured off and started ordering other items from their large selection on their menu. The cheeseburger is a delicious and fulfilling item filled with so much flavour and again, love. The big daddy burger however is the superior option. Two fillets of chicken, 2 slices of cheese, a hash brown, mayonnaise and lettuce packed inside two buns, to die for. You can tell this is also made with so much love.

Overall, I highly recommend Allen’s Fried Chicken to anyone in Manchester as the food is amazing, the staff are amazing and the whole atmosphere is superb. Thank you Allen’s.
