BEST FRIED CHICKEN I’VE EVER HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. Allen’s got me through possibly the worst year of my life. The chicken is fresh, succulent and crispy, the chips are flavourful, and the sauces are amazing. The prices are decent (or definitely were when I lived in Manchester 2 years ago) and the portion sizes are actually filling. I still think about Allen’s to this day and miss it often.

I ordered a Takeout from here, despite reading the Reviews on Google... I got the Family Mix Bucket for £21 and was impressed with the amount of Food we got. We wanted to amend our Order but couldn't do so through Uber, so my Partner rang the Takeaway and a Man answered. He sounded like he couldn't care less and wasn't very skilled in basic Customer Service. However, he did amend our Order and we received it all Perfectly. The Chicken and Chips were Lovely, the Skin came right off. The Hot Wings were Spicy, but I was hoping for Wings that had been dipped in Hot Sauce rather than a Spicy Batter. The Spicy Chicken Burgers were okay, the Spicy sauce had an Overpowering taste but it was Edible. Overall, its not bad for a late night Takeout as it is open till around 4am. The Food is Average, but its worth the Money.

If this could be zero it would be. Worst experience of a take away ever and no food at the end of it. Long story short they took the money and did not deliver the food. Said they no longer used the website when I rang to check on food delivery, but the money left my account from a company they "used to use but no longer do". Ordering online from here is an absolute scam. They have no remorse and know what they're doing. Just don't order from here

Ordered online with yoyo. Charged 30 quid. No food arrived. Rang up to see what the problem was. Told they dont use yoyo and it wasnt there problem. DONT ORDER FROM HERE. GET KFC. UTTER SCAM.

Absolutely disgusting takeaway I don’t know how it’s still open. If only I could give zero stars! My burger was over cooked and tasted off! I had to throw it away it was definitely not edible! The gravy was cold and the consistency of water! The only thing worth going here for is a can of coke, otherwise AVOID AVOID AVOID!
