Visited with family and enjoyed the buffet with Al Maidah. Staff has been helping and cooperative. Menu was good. Lamb chaps were good and spicy but suggestive of little more cooking as I being senior (being70 now) found it a bit harder bite. Starter & Salad bar was nice arranged with a number of items. Sweets n ice-cream counter was also loaded with a variety of nice items. Environment was cozy and comfortable. No congestion and/or noisy. Enjoyed the food and the ambience... Well done and keep it up, Al Maidah. Will visit again

Rude staff! We were made to pay before we even sat down, which should have been the first red flag. After that, it was just one disappointment after another. The restaurant was a complete mess, tables still dirty from previous customers, not a single effort made to clear or clean anything. It was advertised as an all-you-can-eat buffet, but most of the food trays were nearly empty, and hardly anything was being refilled. When we asked if more food was coming, we were met with attitude and eye rolls from the staff. The servers were not only unhelpful but downright rude and argumentative. They acted like they were doing us a favour just by speaking to us. And the cherry on top? They only let us have one portion of lamb chops — at an all-you-can-eat buffet. Make that make sense. For a place that makes you pay upfront, you’d expect at least the bare minimum of service and food. Instead, it was chaos, attitude, and a half-empty buffet. The chicken was cold, the salad was slimey and the doughnuts were raw Never going back and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Al Maidah is a large, welcoming restaurant offering a tremendous buffet with a huge variety of dishes. I went this evening with three friends, and we selected the best items from the Pakistani section of the buffet. The chicken wings were perfectly seasoned, the kebabs were tender, and the dal was rich and comforting. I also enjoyed the fish and a few of the flavorful starters. The overall quality was excellent, and the service throughout the evening was polite and attentive.

The less you say the better, one of the worst experience at a buffet restaurant and have been to quite few around UK. We were visiting Manchester so decided to go here after seeing a review on YouTube, very big mistake just proves food reviews(food veloggers)are not honest reviews. From the moment we walked in , when a member of staff approached us and straight away asked us to pay up front and told us to order drinks as you had to pay for water also no tap water given 😳. Food options were limited or not available in a buffet restaurant? An example ordered lamp chops which arrived cold and rock hard, notified staff who took them back and told fresh are on the way , which arrived after further half hour after being reminded and to be honest they should have not bothered as yes they were hot this time but honestly they were rock hard and not for human consumption 🤢 when we informed staff told have something else 😆. What they charge and what you get in return , not worth the visit and you could do lot better elsewhere, I am pretty confident in saying that . Will never return and just take this as very bad experience. Note to take: On their menu they state how much food was wasted last year this was not for people over filling their plates but is it not case of food is not fit for human consumption hence so much wastage 🤔
