Been here several times, had mixed results. Highly recommend the dynamite prawns and the Dum Parda Biryani. Chicken tikka masala was flavourful. Best garlic naan I've had in Tooting. The chili chicken and lamb Madras are very spicy. Generally the food scores a 5 for flavour but only giving a 4 because the portions are quite small and in some of the curries there's a whole load of sauce but very little meat. E.g. see the pic of the chicken tikka masala (red). And the lamb is not falling off the bone tender like the Afghan restaurants nearby. The service is not consistent. On our first visit we had the old gentleman with the moustache, he was pleasant and helpful and answered our questions with patience. This evening we had a stressed and impatient young man. Previously we had the young female waitress who has a bad habit of staring and glaring at female customers.

I had such a wonderful experience with my family, with Waleed as our server who welcomed us with such great energy and especially the little birthday dance was great, we enjoyed our time a lot at royal mahal thanks to waleed. Service was fast and amazing and food was wonderful. Thank you Waleed for giving us such a great experience.

Me and the family had an incredible experience at Royal Mahal Tooting. The staff were amazing..so welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. As for the food, it was an authentic Pakistani feast! The Lamb Nihari was rich and flavorful, the Bar B Q Platter had perfectly cooked meats with a fantastic smoky taste, and the Chapli Kebabs were absolutely delicious. Every dish was a testament to authentic Pakistani cuisine.

Had lunch at Royal Mahal and it honestly hit the spot. The food was delicious, flavourful, fresh, and felt like real comfort after a long time of average meals. The vibe was nice and clean, and the staff were super friendly too. The highlight for me? The rasmalai, it instantly reminded me of home. Soft, perfectly sweet, and the best way to end the meal. Left with a full stomach and a happy heart. Will definitely be back! ❤️

We had a very nice dinner at RM, foods were delicious and service was excellent. Big thanks Nilesh for his help, we just mentioned that a dish is not too spicy, he immediately changed us a new plate and bigger portions! A very nice night and lots of memories:)
