Decent looking shop with good staff and average food. We tried Lamb mince meet and Chicken Masalah in the ยฃ10 fixed 2 course meal deal which includes a drink as well. Lamb Keema was not the best but not too bad either. Chicken Masalah was better than some other places. It had good taste to it without being too spicy. For drinks we tried Rose & Pistachio and Mango Lassi. They were both very good. We also had Bhail puri, with extra channa daal on our request. It was nice and crunchy with cachumar salad and not too spicy. It they did use some full channas it would have been even better. Overall it was a good experience and I will probably be going there again.

Lovely place for a quick bite. Loved the chefs special which was chicken jalfrezi with rice. The taste is there but I found the curry bit oily and rice was drenched in that oil. I will however try other items. It is very clean and tidy inside. Nice customer service. Definitely a good spot for lunch.

Tried one of their vegan dishes and to be honest it was really good but it was 2/3 rice and 1/3 curry - a 50:50 mix would be better for the price imo. Also all dishes come with poppadoms - though I donโ€™t think three soft pieces barely bigger than a 50p count as poppadoms. For a company whose name comes from it - youโ€™d think theyโ€™d make a bigger deal out of them. Mango chutney for 40p was a bit of a mockery though for what you get. Place was clean and I was served quickly though - even during lunch rush so + points on that.

I enjoyed my lunch and I'm coming back. But.. it wasn't amazing. The Lamb Keema was tasty, but pretty flat. Good lamb taste and subtle spice - but if you're competing with somewhere like Wasabi for quick lunch in a box, you need something more tasty. Maybe some chutney or a richer gravy would do it. Super friendly staff, clean and peaceful place to have lunch. I'm coming back for the butter chicken next.

The staff are very friendly. Ambience is authentic. Masala chai was delicious with the nostalgic biscuits. Keema bun was okay, the keema part was well spiced but the bun was dry and basic. Pani Puri was also a let down - the pani was freezing so it ruined the experience, and it was not spicy or flavoured enough. According to company website all meat is halal.
