I was told by my foodie SIL from Ohio to come here to try this place and her advice didn’t disappoint. It’s a fast casual Japanese American menu with chicken sandwiches, burgers and hot dogs including vegan and gluten free options with separate fryers. I ordered the Chicken Bites and Spicy Miso Soup. The chicken had a yuzu and ginger marinade served with lemon mayo and was twice fried to perfection. The miso soup had the perfect level of spice that made my eye balls sweat a little. I’ve been anticipating my next chance to come back when I’m in the midtown area again. Note: street parking only.

Chicken Sandwich- I thought everything was well thought out but the chicken didn’t taste marinated no yuzu or ginger taste at all. Umami fries- should have used a sauces to dip a bit acidic Fish sandwich- flaky good Curry dog- hot dog itself great quality, sauce taste a lot like the sauce used for curry chicken salad Overall pretty solid place

We popped in hungry and ended up having amazing chicken sandwiches (crispiest we ever had) with seasoned fries and Detroit Soda Company drinks. A great find and totally recommended!

This is definitely my favorite place within walking distance of where I live. The spicy chicken sandwich is to die for and never disappoints. The asian flavors are subtle and fun. It's definitely pricey but I'd rather have one incredible meal than 2 mediocre ones from a different place. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. Except for the absolutely blaring music. It is distressingly loud and prevents me from dining indoors, though most of my friends are unbothered. This is consistent.
