Halal Reviews for Maya Halal Taqueria Downtown

I got the California burrito 🌯 off the recommendation of the cashier. It did not disappoint... yummy, delicious, and quite a serving (for me personally enough for 2 meals). Enjoy!

I ordered two regular tacos with steak and no onions. Sorta expensive, but they tasted great and the size was reasonable. Their hot salsa (I think it was salsa?) went incredible with it. It was enough to make me full. Good food! Of course, Maya Halal is not really a restaurant, but a take-out place. There was seating outside, but only three small tables, which were not in great condition. So, (while the employees were polite), you aren’t really getting any service or atmosphere here. Overall, 4/5.

The halal meat attracted me and the food was phenomenal. The quesadilla, loaded nachos, and burrito were all excellent! Really wish there was a clean space to sit and eat though...

This is one of the best spots in Oakland. If you want a late night burrito, this is the spot. Be sure to get the free chips before 6pm if you can. This place doesn't mess around with the spice salsa. So if you are a heat legend, go for it. Maya Halal is an Oakland staple fo sho

Try this place out for the first time because a coworker told me that the food was good. Went by to get a chicken burrito super when I got the burrito the burrito had too many beans on it with the bean juice no sour cream very little chicken and when I called the manager back to let him know that I had no sour cream very little cheese too as well. He gave me attitude. I would never go back to this place again and I will tell all my friends not to go here step your game up quit cheating people, Out of Chicken and sour cream……..And the beans was too salty
