As someone with roots in Malaysia, who hasn't been back in almost 15 years, and who has been searching for Malaysian food wherever I am that unlocks my memories, I am happy to say that I finally found Gopal's. From the roti to the laksa to the teh tarik, I feel the flavors of Malaysia's legendary cuisine respected and showcased here. The staff are kind, attentive, and work with a fervor.

Delicious Malaysian Indian food. We ordered Banana leaves rice with ayam berempah, fried chicken herbs, 5 pieces of Ayam berempah as side dish and Roti Canai with Dahl. We ordered teh tarik, pulled tea for drinks. All very tasty, chicken well seasoned and full of flavour, best roti in town. Reasonable price, good portion size. No service charge. Food Court / Marketplace style Toilet available Free tap water available Music is a bit too loud, feels like you are in a club and difficult to have conversations.

Absolutely marvelous. Visiting from Germany and haven’t had Malaysian food in a while and this absolutely slaps. It feels like a banana leaf and Nasi kandar fusion. Atmosphere amazing. Mutton curry, ayam goreng berempah, chutney, sambal belacan were all amazing. Definitely will come again the next time we visit London. Thank you for the great experience!

had an incredible experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented on a banana leaf, which added a nice authentic touch. The service was efficient, and the ambiance had a welcoming, vibrant vibe. One thing to note: they only accept card payments, no cash, so make sure you're prepared. Overall, a truly iconic spot for anyone who loves great food and a unique dining experience. Highly recommended!
