A Delightful Dive into Cutee Cafe’s Fusion Asian Magic Nestled in the heart of the bustling downtown strip, Cutee Cafe caught my eye with its whimsical pastel facade and the faint aroma spices wafting through the open doors. Stepping inside, I was enveloped in a cozy vibe: soft fairy lights over wooden tables adorned. The owner greeted me with genuine warmth, offering a quick menu rundown that highlighted their specials. Service was spot-on: attentive without hovering, and they even accommodated my request for a window seat with view. The Thai milk tea arrived in a cup, its creamy, velvety texture a perfect balance of bold black tea, condensed milk, and just a whisper of cardamom for that fusion flair. Sweet, not cloying, it was pure nostalgia upgraded. For the main dish, I dove into the duck pad Thai, crispy shreds of roasted duck mingled with wide rice noodles slicked in a tamarind-tinged sauce, studded with crunchy bean sprouts, and crushed peanuts. The fusion element shone through in subtle hits of star anise, giving it a depth that elevated the classic beyond street-food simplicity. Each forkful was a textural dream—tender duck yielding to chewy noodles, finished with a squeeze of lime for that zesty kick. It was generous in portion. Paired with the drink, it made for a harmonious meal that left us blissfully full. What sets Cutee Cafe apart isn’t just the food—it’s the thoughtful curation of an experience that feels both familiar and fresh. Prices are fair (mains £11), Whether you’re craving a quick caffeine hit or a full fusion feast, this place nails it. Highly recommended—I’ll be back next week for their Taiwanese style Chicken Rice. It’s a flavor adventure worth every bite.

I am deepest recommendation to anyone who wants to taste the delicious Eastern Asia style food with a reasonable price in here. Their staffs are very friendly with great passion to serve their customers. The decorations and their human touch makes you feel like you're in a Hong Kong-style cafe but in Manchester. I have ordered a Crispy Duck With Thai Sauce Jasmine Rice and a Vietnamese coffee, they have recommended that I may try to customise the coffee with less condensed milk, but I decided to have a standard version, and it is a little bit too sweet for me, it's shows that their staffs really know what is the flavour of a Hongkonger and how to optimise their product to the customers. The Crispy Duck is delicious and it's fried in a perfect texture and not overly, and the sauce makes the duck taste with much more flavour but a bit spicy if you can't handle.

House Mix Laksa is a must try, will come again for breakfast too! First time having freshly made pearl in a pan, amazing taste and texture! The boss must be a foodie who respects all the dishes.

A small restaurant with traditional Hong Kong and asian cuisines. Reasonable price and nice staff. I was there during Saturday lunch time. It was full house. Some people were outside and waiting for tables. Weekdays might be a better time if you prefer a simple meal that is served fast. Also be mindful about the opening days and hours. Thur and Fri off while dinner only available on Saturday. Recommended the Hong Kong style mike tea and the bubble tea with milk. Lamb stew with bean curd for 1 person was the “today special”. A tasty real Hong Kong tradition dish. For this special meal, menu mentioned that a 4-people serving could be available by ordering in advance. Thai boat noodle soup with duck was nice too. Burmese curry chicken with jasmine rice was average. A 1-person serving with drink at £9.5, no complaint. This was not our first time visit. A wide range of asian food especially Hong Kong traditional dishes and street food were available. Decent food and drink, cosy atmosphere, reasonable price and convenient location with off-road parking. Show support to local small cafe and restaurant. It would be perfect if the operating hours on weekdays can be extended till dinner time as well.
