portions are very big and filling, fair for the price i think.

the birria tacos had really crispy shells and came with very delicious sauces and dips, and it was really juicy, but i think there could’ve been a bit more stringier cheese and more flavour in the meat itself.

the decked out chicken sandwich was MASSIVE and kinda difficult to eat, but the chicken and the fried mozzarella were super crunchy. i found the peppers and pickles slightly awkward and would’ve preferred the sandwich without it, but the sauce was good. definitely not the best chicken sandwich in vancouver, but still yummy.

some truffle tots were crispy and airy, kinda like chips, while some had more fluffy potato in them which i enjoyed. most of them were well coated in the truffle and parmesan, and i would say this and the birria tacos were the highlight.

the philly cheesesteak had a really soft bun and was quite loaded.

Had high expectations coming here and they delivered! 💥🙌🏼

I could go on and on about how well fried the chicken sandwich was, hot crispy and juicy.
The hamburger such a good beefy taste and the sauce 👌🏼. The cheese steak, lots of meat and cheesy goodness and the bread, crispy on the outside and soft inside.
Those fries/chips/crisps. Thought I'd had fried potatoes every way possible but these were a new thing for me and we loved them.
OK I'm done, it was just lunch and I have to move on with my life. 😅
Finally, after reading some of the reviews on Google I feel it important to point out that I am NOT a Muslim, I think that's kind of obvious. I was treated kindly and the food was awesome!
If we could all just treat others the way we would like to be treated...

Absolutely delicious! The cheesesteak sandwich was fantastic—the meat was perfectly cooked, juicy, and seasoned with flavorful spices, without being overly fatty. The portions are generous, and everything looked as good as it tasted. I also tried the smash burgers, and they were wonderful! The space itself isn’t fancy, but it has a cute, casual vibe and is often full—which says a lot. Definitely a great spot for a satisfying cheat day!
The only thing is that everything was too spicy🌶️this is how you’ll look after 🥵some people may like it, but for me it was too hot, except for the sandwich 😍

Came here this Saturday & was unfortunately very disappointed. We got the Vonn’s Couples Platter, which comes with the Classic Cheesteak, Single Smash Burger, the Chicken Nash,
Truffle Potato Scoops, and 2 Drinks for $63! This is a good deal, but the taste made it not worth it.

Everything was extremely bland; not that there wasn’t salt, but it tasted like that was the ONLY seasoning they added to all the food. I expected some nice spices or seasoning on the chicken nash, but it didn’t have anything. The best part was the potatoes, but they were a bit oily & heavy. That said, the texture was quite nice (had a great crunch) and the flavour of these were pretty good!

Lastly, the service really was terrible. I’m not sure if all the ladies working there are new, but we had to ask 3 times for very basic things like utensils. Additionally, they make the awful mistake of serving paper straws with carbonated drinks, and my partner’s drink bubbled & overflowed, creating a sticky mess (this may sound like nitpicking, but iykyk).

It’s truly a shame that a restaurant in such a great location with such great reviews fell so short in reality. There’s many better options in the area, so skip out on Vonns.

Family craved for burger after a morning at Stanley Park and stumbled across this great joint. I got the Vonns cheesesteak sandwich which was loaded with ingredients with their tasty sauce, very filling and tasty. The smashed burger and chicken burger were both of good portions and tasty. Just wish I could enjoy the food with a beer.
