Halal Reviews for Tutku Chorlton

Recently visited Tutku Cafe and, unfortunately, it didn’t meet our expectations. The overall quality felt quite low. The honey they served was crystallized, and the olives were especially concerning we couldn’t touch them. Their color looked off, and there were little pieces on them that made us lose our appetite. The rest of the food was fairly average and didn’t quite live up to what we were hoping for. On top of that, the payment options were inconvenient, as they only accept cash or bank transfer.

Food was OK, ordered the big breakfasts veggie and halal versions. When the waitress provided the sauce, the bottle was covered with ants. Pictures below included. She seemed oblivious to it. Ants were everywhere on the table. Made the waitress aware. She apologised. They dont accept card but do accept bank transfer.

Amazing service as always. Food was fresh and delicious. highly recommended. it was my friend's birthday and didn't charge us for the cake and put on a song for her.

There’s a few reasons I would rate this place low, first of all the food took 30 minutes to come which I felt was a long time for a brunch place. Secondly when the food came it wasn’t warm at all, I asked for beans (which I had ordered but didn’t arrive) from the waitress who was extremely rude. She didn’t get back to me about it and when I asked again she rudely responded that the beans are coming wait. I think this really ruined the whole brunch. The male manager here is really nice and the food is ok but the waitresses really need to work on their attitudes! Please can you guys think about the way you speak to your customers especially if they don’t deserve to be spoken rudely to.

Couldn’t fault our visit here. A cosy busy spot great for families. The atmosphere is lovely and the outdoor seating is perfect when the weathers good. The food was also on point. Portions are massive and at amazing value. I ordered the chicken Caesar salad and it was surprisingly very good! Will happily come again.
