⭐ Google Review for Saffron Persian Cuisine – Hong Kong ⭐ ★★★★★ I had a wonderful dining experience at Saffron Persian Cuisine in Hong Kong. The food is authentic, flavorful, and beautifully presented. From the appetizers to the main courses, everything tasted fresh and delicious. The kebabs were tender and juicy, and the rice had that perfect Persian aroma and texture. The restaurant has a warm, elegant atmosphere with great hospitality. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. It truly felt like a taste of Persia in the heart of Hong Kong. If you’re looking for excellent Persian food with great service and a comfortable dining environment, Saffron Persian Cuisine is definitely worth visiting. Highly recommended!

EDITED BASED ON OWNER'S RESPONSE **Dear owner: It clearly reads I ordered kebabs AND a stew. I sent the kebabs back and kept the stew as explained below. Thanks for doing me a favor and let me come in during open hours to spend money in your restaurant while your employees ate all at once and took their break together rendering your restaurant without service and rushed food that was uncooked. And then to watch them chilling on their phones waiting for more tea or a bill. Also for removing the kebabs off my bill that I didn't touch other than cutting it open to see it uncooked.** I had high hopes for this place having been in China the several days. Good, high quality, fresh-made persian cuisine would hit the spot. I entered and sat down, and within 20 seconds they wanted to take my order. I asked for more time. I ordered Chicken Koobideh AND A LAMB STEW WITH RICE. The food came out in less than 5 minutes. For the stew, I thought ok. But for chicken kebabs, I was concerned as that is real fast. As soon as I received my food, the three people working all sat down for a family style lunch with their back towards me. A couple came in for lunch and left as they were essentially ignored and the workers were too busy eating their lunch. They could take turns with lunch. I asked if the kebabs were precooked and they said they were made fresh. I mentioned this takes more time. She said chicken cooks faster than beef and lamb! (certainly opposite) Anyhow I cut it open and it surely was not cooked in the middle. I was obviously disturbing her lunch, so she asked another girl to get up and replace it. I asked her if she understood it can make someone very sick. She glared at me and turned her back and kept eating. Needless to say, I opted to not replace the chicken kebabs AND SENT THE KEBABS BACK SO I WOULD NOT TAKE A CHANCE AT GETTING SICK. During the rest of my meal OF THE STEW, they did not check in one time and finished their lunches and continued on their phones. I do not like writing such things but this is something owners should know. It seems everything was rushed and neglected because family meal time during work was most important... not the customer in an otherwise empty restaurant. Prices are high for the portion size as a prior reviewer had mentioned - but it is Central. There are other low cost ways to add value if you are going to charge more for less. FOR THE PRICE PAID, THE SERVICE IS BETTER AT A FAST FOOD RESTAURANT. Crossing my fingers and hoping to get on that flight with a healthy stomach.

THIS PLACE HAS THE BEST FOOD. We ordered one with chicken and rice, and one rice dish with lamb and chicken. The saffron rice has a very unique flavour, but it works so well with the rice. The meat was very juicy and tender. The lamb was some of the best lamb I have tried. The chicken felt very clean and healthy, and very delicious. Even though they didn’t provide much sauce with the food, the flavour of the meat and rice stood out and a lot of sauce was not required. I’d definitely go eat here again. Also, do try out the drinks as they have some traditional Persian beverages which blew me away. 5/5
