Wonderful place for breakfast especially if staying at the Crown Plaza, as we have several times. Not only is the food great, the ambience and decor is charming with its plants and each table having an old fashioned glass milk bottle with cute stainless steel cups for drinking water! It’s a popular place so today we arrived as they opened in order to get a seat. It soon filled up. This place does a lot of takeaway breakfasts also. We were served by the lovely and friendly Josh and ordered the amazing French toast along with the Turkish eggs with chorizo. Coffees were great as well. Service is polite and efficient and we’ll be back tomorrow!

Lovely place. Was buzzing when I went in for breakfast (about 8.30 on a weekday morning) but the service was really friendly and quick. Top notch coffee and great food. Decor is cool too. 100% recommend and much better than anything you'll find at Vic station.

The food is amazing and not expensive for the insanely good quality you get. The place is quite small though and there is always a huge queue. We waited for 20 mins in the rain but were given umbrellas and a menu. The guy outside managing the queue was very nice. However, I think they should consider expanding or opening more restaurants instead of having people waiting for 30 mins every day :)

The BEST food, service and dance music- my friend and I really enjoyed the steak sandwich and eggs and ‘shrooms as well as their delicious banana bread. Honestly, don’t miss it if you’re in Manchester and yes, the queue is so worth it. Thank you Thalia for a perfect first visit- we will be back!

visited Federal Cafe Bar on Saturday morning, and it was the best way to start my day. They serve a wonderful breakfast, great coffee, and the warmest smiles. Special thanks to all the staff – it was a real pleasure meeting Harry with his beautiful smile. The place is super cozy. I ordered a large cappuccino and their special French toast – both were amazing. Thank you so much! ♥️
