I tried both the Philly Cheesesteak and the Hot Honey Fried Chicken sandwiches at Fatpatz, and they were absolutely delicious. The flavors were spot on, and you can tell they use quality ingredients. Surprisingly I preferred the Hot Honey Fried Chicken, as it was saucy and full of flavour.

While the prices are a bit higher compared to other spots, the taste and portion sizes make it worth the splurge. Definitely a great place if you’re craving a solid, flavorful sandwich.

You have to order online, and depending on how busy they are waiting times vary, and drinks menu is limited so best to bring your own.

The online ordering and collection was seamless, although collecting food surrounded by bins is a bit unusual! We both got the Philly cheesesteak. Nice flavours but I think for us personally the strong and salty taste became a bit overwhelming after a while. Maybe we picked the wrong sandwich for us!

You can only order online - if you don’t, you risk not getting anything because they will sell out.

Basically they sell 3 sandwiches, tried the Philly cheesesteak and the hot honey.

Now, a lot of people in the reviews claimed these sandwiches were life changing…well for £15 quid per sandwich, I sure hope so.

Both sandwiches offer very unique flavours, the bread was super fresh and elastic, and both sandos were packed to the BRIM with meat and were steaming hot.

Really nice guy at the window, gave us our order earlier than our pick up time, was def freshly made.

Very unique and worth giving a try, at least once. Sandwiches are def way too big for one person, one of them can easily be shared between two people

I ordered from uber eats after seeing this place go viral! I ordered the hot honey sandwich and as a cook and food enthuast, I honestly didn't think it was amazing.
Firstly, the fillings were tasty but I personally found that having a fried chicken filling meant it became soggy in the sandwich with the sauces. My chicken was overcooked too.
Secondly, the bread itself was abit too stodgy for my liking and this made it too messy to eat. My sandwich fell apart so maybe a baguette with a soft centre and harder outer crust would have been better to hold the shape and not be stodgy.
Secondly, the flavour was abit too sweet. I'm aware this is hot honey, but there was barely any spice to it and so it tasted too sweet.
Personally, I think this place is great as its all homemade, but the hot honey chicken should be a separate starter to enjoy the crispness. As a substitute, I think a bbq pulled pork, Coleslaw, and baguette sandwich would be wayyyy better! Hot honey fried chicken and the bread ruined it for me. Its probably why the philly cheesesteak is more popular because the flavours are stronger and it would hold its shape. This place is the type you try once for me, I prefer Ad maiora - this place is a 10/10.

Went to try out the super famous philly - cheese steak . It was sooo good ! too salty for my liking , and had to drink pints and pints of water after , BUT ! it was honestly an amazing, flavourful , descent sub ! would recommend to anyone , especially those who like their food on saltier / spicier side . You will not be disappointed !
PS. If you are not super duper hungry, one sub will be just enough to share with someone else as they are BIG !
