A Perfect Lunch Spot - Highly Recommend! We visited Essy's in Cheadle this afternoon for a lunch with my daughter and her friends,and we were all thoroughly impressed. First off, the atmosphere was just right—buzzing but not too loud. It was so easy to chat and catch up without having to raise our voices, which isn't always the case! The service was fantastic; we were seated quickly, our orders were taken promptly, and the food arrived in no time at all, which was great as we were all quite hungry. Most importantly, the food was excellent. Really good quality, fresh, and tasted amazing. Everyone enjoyed their meals. A truly enjoyable experience from start to finish. We'll certainly be returning soon.

The Best Sunday Lunch in Cheadle, surrounding areas —and Outstanding Everything Else! 😍 I have been visiting Essys in Cheadle Village for some time now, enjoying their excellent breakfast and brunch (the Smashed Avocado with Egg is a favourite!), but today was my first time trying their Sunday Dinner, and it was absolutely phenomenal. Truly one of the best Sunday lunches I’ve had! The meal was perfect: the roast meat was soft and freshly made, and the vegetables were perfectly seasoned. The star was the Harissa Lamb—it was simply divine, served soft with a nice touch of mint sauce and the incredible addition of black cauliflower cheese. It put a huge smile on my face and I highly recommend it to anybody. Beyond the Sunday Roast Essys is exceptional across the board. • Food Quality: Everything I’ve tried, from the Lamb Shawarma wrap with sweet potato fries to their regular menu items, is fresh and delicious. • Atmosphere & Decor: The cafe features a wonderful, cozy modern-traditional high-end décor and an absolutely great atmosphere. It’s perfect for working locally, a quick coffee, or a full family meal. • Service: The customer service is outstanding from all the staff, each and every time I visit. They also have wonderful coffee and a great selection of cold drinks and smoothies. If you’re looking for a special and outstanding breakfast, brunch, or Sunday lunch right in the heart of Cheadle, look no further. Highly recommend! Big thanks to all the team!

Went in with a hangover, came out feeling much better after a really tasty veggie breakfast. Coffee was very tasty, just a little too dark for my usual taste. Can’t fault the veggie breakfast or the other veggie options on offer too. Great vibes and nicely decorated!

Food so good that giving this place the best review is the least I can do for being thankful. HANDS DOWN THE BEST SUNDAY ROAST EVER. I ordered the Roast Harissa Lamb and did not disappoint. I also ordered the berry smoothie, wish it was served a little colder but still it was a lovely to drink. Thank you to all the team who prepared and served me this meal. Along with ordering the French toast, which was so light and delightful to eat, I will be coming back. Wish this company all the best. (Bonus points this is all halal food)

I had the full English with the peri peri sausage and it has become my go-to at this cafe. It's really delicious. I also tried the breakfast wrap which is also yummy. Their sunshine smoothie and coffee are also brilliant. The sunshine smoothie doesn't have any added sugar which was a pleasant surprise as everything is full of sugar these days. Love this place. ❤️
