🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 A Memorable Persian Evening with Old Friends I was invited by longtime colleagues to Darbar for dinner, and it turned out to be a truly delightful experience. The atmosphere was warm and authentically Persian—elegant yet relaxed, with beautiful touches that made us feel instantly welcome. The staff were genuinely lovely: attentive without being intrusive, and clearly passionate about the food and service. Speaking of food, the portions were generous and satisfying—perfect for sharing and savoring. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared, and the flavors were rich and comforting. It was the kind of evening that reminded me why shared meals matter. I’ll definitely be recommending Darbar to others looking for a soulful, well-portioned Persian dining experience in Manchester.

Darbar is a gem you'd want to tell everybody about! My friend and I went last month, and we felt this incredible hospitality from all around from the moment we walked in. Once you enter, ask to be seated at the back - a whole new world of gorgeous decor opens up. We ordered: Mirza, Fesenjan, Abadis Mix One, Salad Shirazi and Traditional Tea. I can't express how everything was literally perfect - the meat was extremely tender, the sauces super flavourful, and the tea presented beautifully with a date on the side. Sam, who served us that evening, was one of the kindest wait staff I've met - you'll be in good hands if your table happens to be assigned to him! The meal was also reasonably priced (the whole feast with drinks cost us less than £60 total for 2 people). So happy we accidentally came across Darbar, because it's become one of our top picks in Manchester!

The food was excellent and full of flavor, and I enjoyed every bite. The restaurant itself has a very charming atmosphere that makes you feel welcome. The service was a little slow during my visit, but the staff were kind and friendly throughout. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely come back again.

If you are looking for an authentic Persian food you should try this restaurant. The atmosphere, the decoration and the music took me to another location "Iran". The staff were friendly specially Sam and Naz. The service was excellent. Let's talk about the food, it was tasty and original enriched with Saffron in each plate. The meet was fresh and tasty, the Basmati rice was so yum. You should try the Persian crunchy rice. Finally, the Persian tea was made with cinnamon and cardamom and it tasted great. It was an amazing experience and will definitely visit again.

Food, taste, ambience, management, staff, and customer service. Its was a restaurant but actually felt like been hosted by some at their Home. Loved it. Special thans to whole Darbar Restaurant Staff for making my daughter's birthday special. 👏🎉🥰👍🥳 Last but not least that kehwa/special Tea was a blast to keep u light and fresh.
