It’s always wonderful to see how busy this place gets on weekends, so with a rare mid-week day off, I seized the opportunity to visit! I ordered the French toast with fresh berries, drizzled with white chocolate, and it was an absolute treat. Paired with a perfectly made cappuccino, it was exactly what I needed. The service was friendly and attentive, which, sadly, isn’t something you find in every café these days. I think people often forget that family-run businesses are exactly that—run by families! They thrive on patience, appreciation, and community support. Now more than ever, local independents need us to show up for them. If you’re looking for food made with care and served with a smile, this is the place to be. Much love to the owners—your café always puts a smile on my face. I hope this review does the same for you and your staff! 😊

We ordered a coffee and we were with friends, they brought me the coffee and it looked awful. I really wish I had taken a picture. Then we ordered their speciality: Corner and Bloom Eggs with salmon (14£). Total disappointment! Despite waiting about 40 minutes for our order, they brought us soggy bread and salted eggs. Even if it looked very good, it’s not worth it at all. Not going back👎👎👎

Food was disappointing - we got an english breakfast and the vegan focaccia with added scrambled tofu. The scrambled tofu was not great, was quite flavourless and the texture was off (coming from a vegan who has had it multiple times). The plate was too small so it was hard to reach the food without making a mess. The hot matcha was VERY disappointing as the matcha powder wasn’t properly whisked so the taste and consistency were off.

Lovely place and staff were polite but they served us dairy drinks when we'd ordered vegan ones. Only told us after we'd drank some too so we left before our food came. They offered to replace the drinks free of charge to their credit and apologised but didn't feel we could then trust the food. Seems a lovely place if you don't have dietary requirements but wouldn't risk going there if you're vegan or id you have dairy allergies.
