I went to Wok n Roll for my 25th birthday with my friends, long story short the food was great but the service was ridiculous and put a dampener on my night. When we were seated they left x3 menus at the end of the table despite us being a party of 8. This pretty much set the tone for the rest of the evening. We had to ask to order drinks, ask to order food, ask for them to clear the table. It was so bad my friends started clearing the table for them as they left all our plates and then tried to bring out my cake. We gave them a pack of candles and a ‘happy birthday’ sign for the cake which we asked them to put on the cake. They put one candle on and put it in front of the sign so it wasn’t visible. Honestly, the lack of thought and effort was palpable. The only positives were that the food was really nice. I had a sweet icy lychee mojito with the prawn tempura and pad see ew which was hot, fresh and tasty. A good portion size for the price. I’d say go here if you’re looking for a casual night out. Do not go here for special occasions or you’ll be disappointed.

Been here a few times, always order the same items and they’re always a success. It can get busy so booking in advance really helps, it’s a small restaurant so if going with a large group then definitely book in advance. The staff are always very good and take your feedback on the dishes, they have good customer service and have variety of dishes on the menu. The dragon roll is a must if you come here, love it!

Consistently Outstanding – A Hidden Gem on Hanbury Street I’ve been a regular customer at Wok N Roll for quite some time now, and I honestly feel it’s long overdue that I properly acknowledge just how fantastic this place is. From the very first visit to my most recent one, the food has never once disappointed. It’s always fresh, flavourful, and perfectly prepared – consistently amazing every single time. What truly sets Wok N Roll apart, though, is the impeccable service. Every visit feels personal, warm, and welcoming. A special mention has to go to Masum, who always goes above and beyond to make sure we’re comfortable and happy. No request is ever too much – he’s attentive, friendly, and has a natural way of making guests feel genuinely valued. Whether it's a quick dinner or a relaxed evening out, the team makes every experience a great one. The service is as consistent as the food – top-tier, every time. I regret not taking photos of the food during my last visit, but I do have from a previous one that captures of the restaurant. Honestly, though, it’s the kind of place you need to try for yourself to really appreciate. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food, warm service, and a place that treats its regulars (and newcomers!) like family.

We just ordered the Pad Thai, salt & pepper squid, prawn gyoza, Thai wings, Thai dumplings, a spider roll and a seared salmon roll for delivery and everything is the worst we've ever had. The pad Thai tastes nothing like pad Thai and it's not even the correct colour but it tastes like old oil and has a strange unfamiliar flavour anyways. The Thai dumplings are terrible theyre dense and flavourless with an off putting after taste. The spider roll doesn't taste like crab the list of issue here is vast and I honestly am so mad over the money we just wasted I don't have anything nice to say.
