I finally got the chance to go to Trap Kitchen, the booking process, was super easy, I received email confirmation instantly. From the minute we entered, service was top notch, drink orders were taken and produced in a timely manner, we had a good few drinks and all were so tasty, I made a joke about my broken sweet straw and got a replacement one in seconds. The restaurant had a lot of takeaway orders but this did not affect our food, food came swiftly, was hot and flavoursome. I have a seafood intolerance and my food caused no reactions at all. Any restaurant that gives you a side of sweet, tasty waffles with my main is a winner! Thoroughly enjoyed my experience and 100% recommend this black owned business! So proud of the owners and all that work here.

Great food first time trying it I ordered it and I really did enjoy it. I had lobster tail which was really nice and very well cooked along with the bang bang prawns which was cooked very well also and to finish up with some Mac and cheese. The dessert that came along with it was Oreo waffles which was nice also but only thing which I wasn't the biggest fan of was that it all came in 1 box. But overall lovely food and I would highly recommend it. The drink "Slush with rum" was lovely also

Omgggggg I’m a seafood lover and this place is full of life. The food is seasoned to the bone. It has so much flavour. The price is so reasonable and the service by Costa was excellent. My favourite part of the meal was the prawns. The batter was just right. I took the lobster tail because I felt like crab clusters would of been too much of an effort to eat. All in all, it felt like the food was cooked with love.

For £40 you get quite a lot of value in the bucket - we enjoyed the crab legs, prawns and mac and cheese most. Nicely seasoned and the sauces on the side were a good pairing. Would be nice to offer more build your own options so customers can customise their bucket. Lobster we had was rubbery which was a disappointment and the waffle and Oreo seems dry after coming down from sauce heaven with the seafood. The restaurant can be tight in space especially given large families tend to dine here so we asked to sit outside even though we had booked a table and ended up having a takeaway service. Cleanliness appeared to be lacking but service was prompt and friendly.

Wow is all I can say. The bang bang prawns and Mac and cheese were absolutely AMAZING. Words could not describe how delicious the Mac and cheese was. The crab legs too were also great , next time I will try the lobster tail as they had run out . Even the corn on the cob was nice and the oreo waffles were also a delightful treat and still tasted great the next day. I ordered on Uber eats and it travels very well. Will definitely be going into the restaurant to try it in person. Update : I have now tried the lobster slab and lobster bucket and it is incredible. I am a massive fan of trap kitchen
