Coco Restaurant Bar & Grill- Shad Thames

As many of you have seen this place all over IG over the last few months & thought I’ll pay it a visit, as some of you know by now I try to be honest as I can. 

Interior as you can somewhat see is very dark inside but it is beautiful inside no denying that. 

Also this place has a fully alcohol free bar as well, however the drinks from that side are a bit on the pricy side considering the other drink with the cloudy thing on top, it’s literally done in like 3 sips or 1 even. 

So the pina colada I had, I can’t lie it was flipping beautiful, semi thick, creamy & very well balanced & it wasn’t 90% ice either thankfully. 

The Korean prawns: £13

Cooked well, however the sauce on the top just tasted of a normal bbq sauce you get at your local Morley’s, the grapefruit Mayo wasn’t my thing but again I hate grapefruit as it is. 

Tender Lamb chops: £35 

Asked for it medium rare & it came fully well done, took its time as it is but I assumed it’s fresh lamb so I didn’t mind too much, but restaurant was completely empty at the time so I don’t know how they managed to get it fully well done after all that time, sent it back & it came back medium rare & others came medium to medium well & at this point I couldn’t be asked as long as it weren’t well done, however even then the lamb lacked much seasoning or flavour until I was dipping in the chilli sauce which is really good but it didn’t taste like there was even any salt on the lamb :/ 

Overall it was underwhelming minus the pina colada, £35 for only 4 lamb chops I feel is a bit excessive knowing that it does not taste like it’s worth that price whatsoever. Won’t be coming back any time soon.

Aesthetically beautiful, with a wonderful view of the Thames River, this makes @coco_restaurants a great option if you're looking for a Date Night spot.

As I've mentioned before, I'm not usually a big fan of lounge restaurants, but as these types of restaurants become more prevalent, they are unquestionably improving their menus. I was definitely satisfied by the quality of the food. 

Plus they offer a Redemption Bar, meaning NO Alcohol is available, plus the are fully HMC. It's really rare to find a fine dining restaurant in Central London that offers HMC. 

We tried the following:

Coco Chocolate Souffle £12.00 

I definitely had sweet dreams after our visit to @coco_restaurants

Coco Grill & Lounge

COCO is one of those places that instantly makes you feel special. From the beautiful riverside location to the elegant interior, everything about this restaurant is thoughtfully designed.

The food was absolutely delicious — rich flavours, fresh ingredients, and stunning presentation. Every bite felt like a little celebration. The drinks menu is just as impressive, with cocktails that are both creative and perfectly executed.

What really elevated the evening was the service: friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm. The staff made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable from start to finish.

Highly recommend for date nights, celebrations, or simply treating yourself to a wonderful evening in London.

One of the best places in London. Everything here is done at the highest level. I highly recommend ordering the shish it has become one of my favorite dishes here. As for the presentation of the cocktails and food, there are simply no words: it’s next-level. The use of smoke and nitrogen looks absolutely stunning and really makes you feel like you’re experiencing something premium. On top of that, the view of Tower Bridge makes the whole experience even more unforgettable.

This restaurant has a refined and elegant atmosphere. We appreciated it especially for special occasions. The service and staff were very friendly and attentive.

The food was excellent. Overall quality was 10 out of 10. The dishes were very tasty and well balanced. The meals were harmonized in flavor and presentation. Portions were generous. Prices are on the higher side.

I would clearly recommend this restaurant for a special occasion.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was excellent from start to finish. The staff were very attentive, and the place was clean, beautiful, and had a cozy atmosphere. The view of the Thames River makes the experience even more special.

I came here for lunch with a friend and we tried starters, a main dish, salad, and dessert, along with a couple of cocktails. Everything was full of flavor and beautifully presented. Even the non-alcoholic cocktails were amazing — they really know how to balance and combine flavors so you don’t feel like you’re missing the alcohol at all.

Overall, it was a unique dining experience with great food, great service, and a lovely setting. I’d definitely recommend it and would love to come back.

The service was honestly so nice — everyone was super kind and attentive from the start, even offering water right away, which I always appreciate.

I totally fell in love with the prawn starters. You could really taste the quality — everything felt fresh and done with care.

It’s also great for vegetarians. We shared roasters, and I had really good vegetable patties.
The cocktails were amazing, and I loved that they have freshly squeezed juices. I chose pomegranate, and it was so good.

PS: the design is really beautiful, and the location is just top — you can see the river.

Fully Halal. We have an extensive drinks menu with beers, wines and cocktails which is completely alcohol-free.
