Tasty peri peri chicken dishes with good selection of other dishes too. We went to the Self service area, you can scan a QR code on the table to view the menu, order and pay all in one-go. They bring the food to the table. Easy process, but the network was quite slow inside the restaurant, so took a while before we could order everything. Large selection of sauces for different spice levels (periometer). Service was good as well.

Absolutely terrible experience. We waited more than 40 minutes only to be served food that was completely burnt – charred black and totally inedible. This is unacceptable for any restaurant, let alone Nando’s. The service was careless, the food quality shocking, and the whole experience a waste of time and money. I’ve added photos so people can see for themselves. Never coming back.

Nando’s Wood Green offers a familiar, casual dining experience with a few ups and downs. Located in a small complex near Wood Green tube station, it’s easy to spot and fairly accessible. According to locals, this branch is halal, which helps broaden its appeal. Inside, the space is modest and can feel cramped when busy. Some reviews mention that the place is “quite small” for a Nando’s and could benefit from more room. The layout is typical: counter ordering up front, seating in the dining area, with décor reflecting the brand’s signature look. Cleanliness is generally acceptable. Service is one of the stronger aspects. Staff are often described as friendly and helpful. Many reviews praise how quickly orders are handled. However, there are occasional negative comments about undercooked food, soggy sides, or poor beverage quality when ordering via apps or delivery. Some customers also report inconsistent portion sizes and occasionally rude staff experiences. In terms of food, what you expect from a Nando’s is mostly delivered: grilled chicken with peri-peri seasoning, sides, and their signature sauces. Many guests consider the food “well prepared.” But there are mixed reports: some say the chicken was undercooked, and some sides (like chips) were soggy. Overall, Nando’s Wood Green is a solid choice for a quick, reliably familiar meal. If you go during non-peak hours, you’ll likely get better comfort, more space, and smoother service.

Worst experience ever in Nando’s, food not hot and the chicken was not cooked very well, one of the slice of the garlic bread arrived in half when I asked to replace it lady came with small plate to take it back the other one was in my plate (like I asked for it because I wish to have more). Table next to the dirty sink and full of flys around, in the middle of the dinner lady manager I guess climbed on the chair to check the lights and try if all works like a disco pub. Absolutely first and last time in this specific restaurant. As a suggestion to the attention of the management team please make sure to keep the restaurant more clean because was not clean at all.

Sat down and all i could smell was the damp rag that was used to wipe the tables. The door to the kitchen was absolutely filthy, This was such a good Nandos when it first opened , the food now is hit and miss, the cleanliness is non existent, and the atmosphere is well...woodgreen...so I guess that cant be helped.
