I recently discovered Simit Palace in Brighton, and it’s an absolute gem! Their Turkish breakfast is fantastic — everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The simit was perfectly crisp on the outside and soft inside, and the variety of cheeses, olives, and spreads made it a real feast. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. Highly recommended for anyone looking to try authentic Turkish flavors in Brighton!

The red velvet cake I bought on my son's Birthdat was soft, moist, and perfectly balanced with a rich cream cheese frosting. Its flavor was smooth and not overly sweet. The chef did an excellent job—every detail showed care and skill, making the cake both beautiful and delicous..❣️

I ordered a cake, but after trying it, I found it very dry. I returned it and explained that I didn’t want a refund — just something different instead. However, I was told that since I had already tried the cake, I couldn’t return it, and that it had been “put out this morning” and was fresh. I tried to explain that I only took a small bite to realise it was dry, but the conversation didn’t go anywhere. What disappointed me most was the lack of interest or customer care. The staff member showed no effort to help, didn’t apologise, and instead sat at a table on their phone.

Relaxing atmosphere. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The lahmacun was thinner than others I have had but tasted nice. Good choice of savoury and sweet food and a wide selection of drinks, including coffee, mint tea and hot chocolate. Great to find decaffeinated tea as not all cafés serve it.
