I just had the most wonderful graduation lunch with my husband and a friend, and seriously, it was so special! The food was super delicious, and the service? Top-notch! We had the drinks that were just so good, and honestly, the food portions were big enough that we got to try a ton of different things. Everything we tasted was just amazing. For starters, we went all out! I tried the duck salad, some tasty prawn rolls, duck rolls, chicken satay, and oh my goodness, Chai Wu's special fried rice and sweet and sour chicken for the mains. Every single one was absolutely delicious. After those fantastic main courses, dessert was definitely needed, and it did not disappoint. They even made it extra special by putting graduation wishes on the dessert – how sweet is that?! And the dessert options were incredible. I had raspberry sorbet, mango sorbet, vanilla sorbet, a warm matcha lava cake, and of course, cheesecake. All of it was so, so yummy. Compliments to the chef. Honestly, they made my graduation lunch truly memorable. If you're looking for great food and service, I can't recommend this place enough!

This restaurant is hidden away within the maze that is Harrods. Service was attentive, the food was amazing. The Dim Sum platter was unlike anything I had before and finished was a dessert, I need more of the apple sorbet! This is a solid Chinese option for area, better than other experiences we have had.

Lovely secluded restaurant (with amazing air con to escape the heat). Food was really incredible - my favourites were the coconut prawn and the sweet and sour chicken. Service was impeccable - staff were really friendly, food could have come out slightly quicker but with that air con we weren’t too worried. One of the best Chinese meals we’ve had in a long time.

Chai Wu is hidden away on the fifth floor in Harrods. Didn't know this place existed until a friend told us about it. The crispy lobster noodles and mango sushi roll were the highlights of the evening. Our waitress Semel was great and very attentive. We look forward to visiting again soon.

Chai Wu at Harrods — warm, sensory, and to the point: • 📍Tucked inside Harrods, this upscale Chinese gem blends elegant dining with bold, contemporary flair. • 🥟 The dim sum platter was a visual dream — jewel-toned wrappers, tender seafood fillings, and silky textures throughout. The truffle prawn dumpling was a standout. • 🥩 Wagyu puffs were rich and flavourful, though the pastry could’ve been a touch crispier. • 🦆The Peking duck was the showstopper — tender, juicy meat wrapped in crisp skin, served with delicate pancakes, fresh veg, and a bold trio of sauces for the perfect bite every time. • 🍽️ Service was smooth, and the room itself — all red velvet and lacquered glamour — makes you want to linger a little longer.
