Hotbird Oakland

The fish and chicken sandwiches didn't match the temperature of the almond samples. The fish is kinda oily and ends up with a similar consistency to McDonald's and the chicken isn't really flat or overflowing so your last few bites are gonna be sans chicken. I do like the crunchy batter but if I were in the neighborhood again I'd probably try someplace new.

MANNNNNNN QUIT PLAYING ON GAWD THAT WAS THE BEST CHICKEN SANDWICH I'VE HAD IN A LOOOONNNNNNG TIME! So tonight i decided to try Hotbird and I'm so, so glad I did , I was chopping it up with one of the owners ( just the most kindest and chill human being) and im in total awe where do I begin... okay on the way home I had to sample the fries because the delicious aroma... how could I resist and im so glad I did yummy,yummy yummy, yum 😋 . I couldn't wait to get home and try my fried chicken sandwich well once i got home I got myself together and proceeded "to get down on it" I thought I was going to pass out from the flavor train and the juiciest chicken 🐔. I called for my daughter to take a bite so she did and was pleasantly surprised on how good it was and the bun, coleslaw OMG I've officially have gone into a food coma. Please check this spot out you will not be disappointed. Trust 💯

Hotbird makes a really good chicken sandwich, especially with the comeback sauce. I got mild spice, which to me was just a tiny bit spicy, so I'll kick it up a notch the next time I go back. Waffle fries were okay (I don't think they season them), so I ended up dipping them in the comeback sauce for flavor. Bonus points for the chicken-themed decor inside the place.
