I had a great experience at Marugame Udon. The food was fresh, tasty, and served quickly, but what really stood out was the service. Alvera and Manoj were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Popped into Marugame Udon in Canary Wharf for a quick bite and it did not disappoint! Super fast service—canteen style, so you grab your tray and go. I had the Beef Nikutama Udon and the noodles were perfectly chewy ("mochi-mochi" as they say). Grabbed a couple of tempura pieces too, which were crispy and fresh. The best part? The price. It’s hands down one of the best value lunches you can find in the area. The place was buzzing and had a cool vibe, great for a solo lunch or a casual catch-up. Highly recommend if you’re near Cabot Square and craving a filling, tasty Japanese feed without breaking the bank."

Great first experience! This was our first time visiting, and we were really impressed. The food was great, with plenty of tasty options to choose from. The staff were all very warm and welcoming, which made the visit even better. A special shout-out to Shivam, who was incredibly kind and walked us through the ordering process. He even surprised our daughter with a free snack, which absolutely made her day. Another special mention to Ranjana for personally checking in on us to make sure everything was perfect. Overall, a wonderful experience — we’ll definitely be back!

Karaage chicken is good, but the teriyaki salmon rice was not the best. The sauce was flavorless and cold, and the salmon was overcooked. It just didn’t taste good altogether. Will be returning to try other options though!
