My Nawaab has become one of my absolute favourite places to dine in Manchester, and it’s a restaurant I make sure to visit every single time I’m in the city. Over the years, it has never disappointed me — the food quality, taste, and service have always been consistently excellent. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, but what truly stands out is how fresh and flavourful everything tastes. The seasoning is well balanced, the aromas are rich, and the presentation shows attention to detail. Whether it’s starters, mains, or desserts, I’ve always left completely satisfied. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is warm and welcoming. It’s well-maintained, clean, and has a lovely ambience that makes it suitable for both casual dinners and special occasions. The staff are polite, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile, which makes the whole dining experience even better. What I appreciate most is the consistency — every visit feels just as good as the last, and I can always trust that the food will meet my expectations. For the quality you get, the prices are very reasonable, making it a great value for money. I’m always happy with the service, the food, and the overall experience at My Nawaab. It’s not just a restaurant to me anymore — it’s a must-visit tradition whenever I’m in Manchester. Highly recommended to anyone looking for delicious food and a memorable dining experience.

If you’re considering Nawaab for a wedding or large event, please read this first. We were very disappointed with how our wedding event was handled. The lift wasn’t working on the day. There is another lift, but we were told this was for emergencies only and only for wheelchair users, which meant elderly guests and those with prams had to use the stairs carrying up multiple staircases just to reach the 1st floor let alone the 2nd. We understand things can go wrong, but this wasn’t the only issue and was the start of a horrible day. Even with wheelchair users present, accessibility wasn’t managed well. Tables weren’t set up properly and I had to move one myself so a guest in a wheelchair could sit comfortably. This really should have been noticed and sorted by staff. The service was very disorganised. We were told waiters would be assigned to tables, but that didn’t seem to happen. Guests were left waiting for drinks and refills, and family members ended up stepping in to help and direct staff. When we raised this, we were told the staff had their “own order of doing things,” which was not working as guests were left unhappy. Food refills were another issue. When curries were brought out, they were often only about a quarter full, meaning people had to keep asking again and again, even after we mentioned it. The events management side was especially frustrating. The on-site manager, did try her best, but it felt like she didn’t have the right support. Decisions and extra charges seemed to come from head office, and she was left to pass this on and take the frustration. When we spoke directly to two men in the office, we felt dismissed, instead of listening to our concerns, they slammed a pile of papers of supposed good reviews and questioned why the venue gets good feedback. There were also maintenance issues, including damaged doors, one of which was the bridal suite door, which affected privacy. That’s really not acceptable for a wedding venue. We also had issues with planned extras. Sparklers were scheduled by the venue for 1:30–2pm, which made no sense for a wedding as these are normally used at the end for the bride and groom or cake cutting. This timing was never discussed with us beforehand, and we were told changing it would incur extra charges. The chocolate fountain was also set up late and only after repeated prompting. One thing I’d strongly advise is to separate the buffet/restaurant reviews from the events side. The food may get good reviews and with good service, this wouldve been good. But managing weddings and buffet are a completely different experience. If you’re considering an event here, make sure you read reviews specifically about weddings and functions. We paid for everything, including all extras, and we don’t mind paying more to make sure a special day runs smoothly. Unfortunately, the service we received was well below what was expected, especially from a venue with such a big name. See pics of 2 examples from 1 vid I took, one showing the manager who was serving (no waiters around) and 2nd showing no waiters on the floor and a guest standing looking over for someone to provide a refill bottle. Plenty more examples I have.

Plenty of Pakistani dishes available to choose from. Aesthetics were immaculate and great atmosphere. Plenty of starters to choose from. Nothing stands out to be honest. Apart from the lamb chops and lamb steak, food was very average overall. Typical Pakistani wedding food. Price per person was £32pp because it was a bank holiday. Desserts were decent, recommend the chocolate cake and custard. Would not go again but definitely worth to try it out once. P.s if you could add more fruit options it would be better. Only pineapple and melon was available. Watermelon would've been nice.

I recently visited Nawaab Manchester and had a fantastic dining experience. The buffet was impressive with a huge variety of dishes to choose from, catering well to both adults and children. Every dish I tried was delicious, piping hot, and regularly refilled, which kept everything fresh throughout the evening. We arrived just after 6pm when the restaurant had just opened, and there was no waiting time at all, which made the start of our meal even better. The flavours were rich and authentic — truly a delight for the taste buds. While it is a little on the pricey side, I think it is justified by the sheer range and quality of food on offer. Overall, it’s an excellent choice for families, groups, or anyone who loves a generous and flavour-packed buffet.

Nice restaurant for dinning out and going with friends. Food was freshly made on order. Plenty of choices Booking required: you have to call and book you table. We arrived before our due time and the staff was able to accommodate us. They also accept clients without reservation but sometime you might have to wait for quite long to get a table. Therefore, to avoid delays it better to book a table. Plenty of parking available for guests.
