Had an amazing burger with chicken salt fries here. Great atmosphere and brilliant staff. Thank you so much to the server who helped me choose between two options I was stuck on. The chicken salt fries were hot, crispy and full of flavour. My burger was awesome. Very impressed.

We had such a lovely time dining here. We didn’t have to wait for a table at all, and everyone was incredibly welcoming from the moment we arrived. The staff were genuinely warm and attentive, constantly checking in to see if we were enjoying the food, and even brought over a few little extras for us to try. They also made some great recommendations that suited our taste perfectly. The beef was beautifully cooked – fresh, tender, and full of flavour. You can really taste the quality of the meat. The salad was refreshing and crisp, slightly tangy but in a way that made it even more appetising. The overall atmosphere was relaxed yet lively, and the service really made the whole experience special. A wonderful meal from start to finish.

Absolutely fantastic steak spot, beautiful tender flavours cooked to perfection with a simple but delicious menu. Ordered the beef rib which was so rich in flavour and enough for 2 people to share. The sauce was made from a Gochujang base and complimented the rib well. Smoked and cooked to perfection. I ordered the picana steak and the fillet and oh my, it was juicy and flavourful, peppercorn sauce was one of the best I’ve ever had. Garlic truffle Parmesan fries 10/10, crunchy and punchy!

Amazing food, amazing staff, amazing atmosphere, can’t fault any of it. The complimentary fried onions are a very nice touch. We ordered a steak and the rib. The steak was perfectly seared, nicely seasoned, and the sauce was tasty as well. Now the rib, wow, easily the most tender beef rib I’ve tried, the sauce was beautiful, offered a nice balance to the fattiness of the rib, 10/10.

I’ve been to Meat Works in Manchester twice now, and both times the food has been absolutely amazing. The quality, flavour, and presentation have been consistently top-notch. The first time I visited, the service from Patrick really stood out — he was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. On my second visit, Patrick wasn’t working, and although the service could have been a bit better, the food still more than made up for it. I’ve tried both the burger and the ribs, and they were both cooked perfectly — tender, juicy, and full of flavour. The desserts are also really good and worth saving room for. Overall, Meat Works never disappoints when it comes to great food, and I’ll definitely be going back again!
