I saw a review on Tik tok and decided to come here, when we first arrived we were greeted by a friendly young man, and he told us that the wait time will be 50min. Seeing we had children and came from Newcastle, he worked extra hard and got us a table straightaway which I will be super grateful for. The place itself is small, but that means they can control the service and food served. The food was PHENOMENAL, the staff even more so. You can’t ask for starters and main to come out together, which we didn’t mind, portions are really decent, my son couldn’t finish his burger and me and my husband finished our steak and ribs. I would absolutely come again, and recommend this place for everyone to try

My boyfriend and I visited for our first time last week, and we were amazed by the services. Our server Jun was incredible. He was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Great recommendations, too. Absolutely loved the Emmy burger. And the southern bird as recommended. After that, we tried the key lime pie. It's was beautiful. Most likely, we will be coming back. Thank you for a brilliant experience.

Hand on heart one of the best culinary experiences I’ve had. The Korean ribs were the highlight and the desserts are a must try. The best service I have ever had - the waiters were kind helpful and very pleasant to interact with and felt like friends. Would highly recommend Thanks to the Toronto boys who served us and rest of the amazing team who provided a birthday cake on the house without us asking.

I visited Meatworks at Circle Square on a weekday and was surprised to find it already quite busy – clearly word is getting around fast. The atmosphere was lively, and the staff were absolutely lovely. The waiters made us feel super welcome from the moment we walked in, which really added to the experience. I went with a friend and we tried quite a few things off the menu. We started with the king prawns – beautifully cooked in a creamy sauce, and that squeeze of grilled lemon really brought it to life. The bread served on the side was a great touch and perfect for mopping everything up. For mains, we got the Korean BBQ short ribs, which were packed with flavour, and the picanha steak. Unfortunately, the steak was quite chewy and not the best cut – but the manager came over, explained that there had been an issue with their supplier, and offered to replace it with a filet mignon. That replacement steak was absolutely spot on – juicy, tender, and cooked perfectly. The peppercorn sauce was a bit too watered down for my liking, but the meat really held its own without it. We also ordered the truffle fries – the texture and quality of the potatoes were great, but they didn’t have that strong truffle flavour some might expect. Still enjoyable though. The Emmy burger was another highlight – the caramelized onions were soft and paired perfectly with the meat. Everything was clearly made with care. To top it off, the manager surprised us with a complimentary dessert – the key lime pie. The base was crumbly, buttery, and delicious, although I wasn’t the biggest fan of the mousse on top – just a texture preference. Overall, Meatworks is a great new addition to Manchester’s food scene. It’s also halal, which is a huge plus, and the service really stood out – the team went out of their way to make sure we left happy. I’ll definitely be back to try more soon.

Went based on a recommendation and from what I understand this branch has only been open a few weeks - but wow!!! Loved the food we picked - had we not have been short for time, we would’ve got their mains but in the end settled for small plates. I’ve never had anything like the cheeseburger dumplings anywhere and the tenders were great. Lovely service from the team too.
