Burger Shack

Terrible food and experience! Food and safety concern! Be careful ordering food from this place. Never again. I ordered £49 worth of food for me and my partner. It was our second time order there since the first order was a good experience for us. Excitingly we waited for our food just so we can be disappointed and upset. My burger came uncooked. It was mushy and plain. The cheese looks clear like plastic. We called the restaurant about our food being uncooked and was I kind enough to ignore it and ask for a new burger to be send as we paid by cash. We were polite and calm. However, the owner got to the phone and start panicking, being defensive saying that he cooked the burger himself and see nothing wrong with the issue I addressed. He said that his restaurant is busy and we should come return the burger ourself. We told him that we order for home delivery for a reason, otherwise we would have come to order it in person. The attitude was terrible and he didn’t offer no apology, refund or being understanding at all. The worst part of it is that I’m 7 months pregnant and the uncooked meat could harm my unborn baby. We told him that this is not safe or right for me to consume. He said that the uncooked meat is completely fine for a pregnant woman to eat. The problem with undercooked meats include Salmonella and E Coli bacteria. It is very concerning that the owner which is the chef himself didn’t have the knowledge to be aware of this while cooking food for all his costumers that he’s busy selling. After hearing his response I told him that I no longer want a new burger to replace his big mistake. He never apologies or offer to refund me. Now I have to nervously waiting to see if my pregnant body would get food poisoning or sick of this place food. Or if my unborn baby will be born healthy. Food safety is not something that can be exaggerated or ignore. We ordered off just eat and just eat could not refund us because it was paid in cash. All we can do is hope to get justice off reporting food safety and hygiene issue to the council.

I'm a regular customer at Burger Shack and sadly I've had a dissapointing experience today. The food arrived lukewarm and usually its super hot so I don't know what happened there. Additionally the burger buns were completely burnt on both sides which was disappointing and really ruined the taste of the burger. We also were missing our two drinks from the order. I rang the business to ask what could be done and they said they would send someone with our drinks but couldn't do anything about the burger. They said they would compensate me but didnt tell me how so I assume nothing will be done, quite disappointed by the service today.

I recently visited Burger Shack with a friend and had a fantastic time! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with friendly and welcoming staff who made us feel right at home. We ordered two burgers - The Boss burger and the Chick N' Shack - and both were outstanding. The Boss burger was a thick, juicy beef patty with Monterey Jack Cheese, and it was absolutely delicious. The patty was smashed to perfection and cooked just the way we wanted it. The Chick N' Shack was equally amazing, with panko-coated fried chicken and cheese that was bursting with flavor. Aside from the mouth-watering burgers, the overall taste of the food was outstanding. Every bite was packed with flavor, and the ingredients tasted fresh and of high quality. The staff were also very nice and friendly, which added to the overall enjoyable experience. They were attentive to our needs and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. Overall, I had an excellent experience at Burger Shack and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious burger joint. The food was outstanding, the staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was just right. I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu!
