Visited in May 2025 and had a fantastic experience. A special shoutout to Mercy, our host for the evening, who was incredibly warm, attentive, and welcoming throughout. She really elevated the whole dining experience with her kindness and professionalism. We ordered a range of dishes and everything was full of flavour. The jollof rice was the absolute highlight, so good we ordered extra to take home. The chicken korma was also delicious, rich, and well-prepared. Portion sizes were generous and the food arrived promptly. The atmosphere was lively yet comfortable, and combined with the excellent food and exceptional service, it made for a really enjoyable night. Mercy in particular deserves recognition, she went above and beyond and truly stood out. All in all, this was a wonderful experience and I’ll definitely be returning. Highly recommend both the restaurant and Mercy’s outstanding service.

My colleagues and I recently visited Avan Lounge Restaurant and the overall experience was a bit underwhelming. We were able to take lots of lovely pictures which remains the highlight of our visit. We hadn't settled in properly when one of the restaurant attendants insisted that we needed to place our orders immediately. We kindly explained that we wanted to take some photos first which is a common thing for a group of ladies enjoying a day out. He remained adamant. His insistence created an awkward start to our visit, and he eventually walked away visibly upset. Two of my colleagues ordered the Special Okro. One plate was rich with proteins, the other came with barely any. This was disappointing, especially since both meals cost the same. I had the Tagliatelle pasta, which was tasty but became overly oily toward the end. Unfortunately, it didn’t come with any protein option, which made it feel a little incomplete. Overall, we didn’t quite get that memorable or exciting experience that would draw us back again. That said, Avan Lounge can still be a decent place to visit if you go with the right company and create your own fun.

It was my birthday the other day & i saw a nice review on TikTok about how the food here was so good. Literally had to drag a friend there. I really had a great time! Food was so yum. We had the Avan platter which was pretty much too. Would be a perfect order for a group of 5/6 people. The place was really beautiful with the decor et al. Also, it was good music & vibes all through. Would really recommend. 👌🏽

The ambience was pleasant, and the service was attentive. Unfortunately, the restrooms were not in great condition, and the food didn’t really impress. It’s possible I simply chose the wrong dish, all I can say is Iceland called and they want their calamari back cos the calamari tasted as though it came straight from the freezer aisle. The wings were fine, though nothing we tried stood out except for the frozen strawberry daiquiri, which was genuinely excellent. Overall, it’s an okay spot, but not one that left a lasting impression.
