Halal Reviews for Honest Burgers Spitalfields

The place, part of a well-known chain, suffers from its rather small size and, coupled with company that wasn’t exactly chatty, made the experience fall short of expectations. My sandwich was overly seasoned and salty. On the other hand, the burger — ordered medium — wasn’t as juicy or tasty as usual. Am I wrong, or have the portions got smaller?

Excellent. The staff was very helpful with my needs. Being gluten-free and vegan with multiple allergies makes it difficult to find a burger, but I finally managed to enjoy a good burger at this honest burger branch. They even went out of their way to show me the burger bun label, which most restaurants fail to do.

I’m not usually a huge burger lover.. but this was actually REALLY good! I had the chicken pesto burger and it was delicious. My husband also loved his beef burger and our friend loved the vegetarian option. Definitely a new favorite burger place in London - we even ended up going to one of the locations twice on our trip! The only negative is that it gets quite loud in there, so in the end we were practically yelling to each other at the table. But the food was great and we had the sweetest server :)

Really enjoyed my visit to Honest Burgers – Spitalfields (12 Widegate St, London E1 7HP). The Buffalo chicken burger was tasty, and the free onion rings from the app were a nice touch. Jack was great—friendly and attentive. Glad to know their chicken is halal. Will come again.

Nice place, nice stuff, but the food was sooo disappointing. Too much salt on fries, onion rings soaking in oil, chicken in the burger covered in golden chicken spice and halloumi that had no taste at all. We will not come back
