The Burmese Coconut Ramen was delicious. Lovely intersection between South Asian and Southeast Asian flavors.

Nan Gyi Thoke was great. The keema paratha was dry for me. So I asked the chef for the curry and she poured some chicken curry on it and it tasted great.

My burmese friend brought me here because she said this is the most authentic burmese food she's ever had in the U.S. And it did not disappoint! We got tea leaf salad and 2 noodle dishes (sorry, not good with names). You can ask them to adjust the spice depending on your tolerance. All the dishes were so flavorful and packs a punch. It's like a flavor bomb in your mouth. The tea leaf salad was my favorite. Loved how refreshing it was. It was crunchy and full of texture. Really helps cut away the grease and helps with how heavy the other dishes are.

This time around, I went with the chicken dum pot which is their chicken biryani rice. The rice is kept hot in a giant rice cooker and the chicken thighs are stewed in a curry sauce (I think). I think the rice is just not what I'm used to eating, personally I wish it was a bit more flavorful. It was quite spicy though and the spice definitely built up the more rice I ate. The chicken thighs it came with were tender and I wished that they put more sauce on the rice. A good meal for about $13 in the food court.

The chicken curry and paratha. Truly. The best thing at the Queens Night Market. Maybe one of the best curries in NYC. I swear. It’s insanely good. Cinnamon-y, warm flavour. Omg. It’s so delicious. At the night market, it’s a generous portion for $5. Such a great deal.
