One of the finest dining establishments in this region, this establishment exudes an atmosphere of tranquility. It is an ideal venue for both intimate gatherings and formal office luncheons. The ambiance is characterized by its impeccable decor and sophisticated ambiance. While the cuisine is of exceptional quality, the prices may be considered somewhat exorbitant. The staff members are courteous and attentive, accommodating the preferences of their patrons.

It’s my 2nd time here, and 1st time it was okish experience but that had been 3 years now, so I wanted to give it a try again as this restaurant is local to me. For mains in price of £11.95, one expects either flavours or presentation, this frankly didn’t stand out for me, too much spices doesn’t mean flavours. For starters, sambhar vada in £7.95 one expects decent size of vadas, these are not East London prices. Restaurant is decent but not for us when by spending 20% more I can have better experience in Central London with more flavourful food or paying 40% less can dine somewhere else in East London. Place is spacious, nice & decent, toilets were very clean. It was very busy on mother’s day & with young kids & family it gets noisy Staff were good, and were attentive in refilling water etc Though, this place is not something I would visit again easily as for me food was too much spicy, and for the prices I paid it was not worth it because portion size was not big either. Its decent option though, for those who don’t mind prices & spices.

We visited Manjal after the new year and it's been an amazing experience from the outstanding food all the way to the friendliness of the staff. The food we had consisted of lamb chops, chicken and fish for starters and Naan and various curries for our main. My God the food was exceptional the sizziler platters were really good along with the spiciness of the curries

Manjal is located at the end of Langston Road with plenty of on-site parking. The food is good quality and much more on the regional side of the cuisine than what most Indian restaurants serve. Portions are a fair size and reasonable value. The restaurant itself does lack atmosphere with it feeling a bit like a tired club house or village hall, but the service is friendly and this makes up for it. There's also plenty of space for dining making it a good venue for a large party.

Staff friendly and attentive. Atmosphere non existent, furnishing could do with modernising. Most of the food tasted good but the next day we had to go toilet often. Not because of gone off food, but I find Indian places that cook with cheap oils, spices ingredients etc cause stomach issues the next day.
