Great Food and Wonderful Service! I recently visited Manjaros on Ilford Lane after a friend recommended it, and it definitely lived up to the hype! My friend and I went there for lunch, and from the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the cosy yet spacious atmosphere. The lighting and décor are modern and welcoming, giving the place a very comfortable vibe. The menu has an excellent variety of options for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians, which is always a plus. We started off with drinks,a Pina Colada and Fruit Punch, both refreshing and nicely presented. For starters, we ordered Loaded Fries, which were spicy with just the right kick. For the mains, I had a Vegetarian Pizza (fresh and flavorful!), and my friend ordered a mixed meal that came with chips, rice, pita bread, salad, skewers, and sauce, an impressive platter and great value for money. Everything was served hot and neatly presented. The portion sizes were generous, and the restaurant was clean and well-maintained. Our server was polite, attentive, and very helpful, making the overall experience even better. Price-wise, it’s very economical considering the quality and quantity of food. We left feeling happy, full, and eager to return. Highly recommend Manjaros if you’re looking for great food, friendly service, and a relaxed dining experience on Ilford Lane!

I’ve been to Manjaros in Ilford with my family quite a few times, and I must say they have never disappointed me. The flavours are always consistent, the staff are always friendly and helpful. The quality of the food is really good, bursting with flavour. The prices are also fairly reasonable. Over all I can’t really fault them. I will defo be visiting again.

I had a great time and I was full after leaving. Honestly kind of disappointed. Last time I came was a little over a year ago. I had ordered the chicken Parmesan. And the chicken was no where to be seen 😭 it was thin and very little chicken on what I had been served. The fries are no longer fat fries. The chicken was hard for my liking too. I would come again overall and order something else.

Having visited several Manjaros branches over the years—including Middlesbrough, Ingleby Barwick, Newcastle and Leeds—I have always appreciated the consistent quality of the food. During my visit to Forest Gate in East London, I was pleased to discover a Manjaros branch in Ilford and drove there despite heavy traffic. I placed a takeaway order for a Hot Shot Parmesan and two Ferrero Rocher milkshakes. Unfortunately, the experience fell significantly below the standards I have come to expect. Parmesan Meal: The Parmesan was noticeably overcooked. The edges were crusty, the interior was dry, and the base was extremely hard and crispy, suggesting it may have been reheated or prepared earlier than it should have been. Although the dish was served piping hot, the overall quality was unacceptable. The fries were similarly disappointing—most were overly crunchy, dry and difficult to bite into. Ferrero Rocher Milkshakes: Both milkshakes were poorly prepared. They lacked thickness, and the ingredients appeared to have separated. The chocolate from the Ferrero Rocher had settled at the bottom, while the remaining liquid resembled skimmed milk. This is far below the standard I have consistently experienced at other Manjaros locations. Photos have been provided for reference. Overall, I am extremely disappointed with the quality of this order and with this branch in particular. I expected far better from Manjaros given their usual high standards. After receiving food in this condition, I did not feel it was reasonable to drive back to Ilford again in heavy traffic. I tried calling the store but no answer.
