I really enjoyed Africana, it's a lot smaller inside than I thought but it's very well decorated and the food is perfect. I arrived just as the restaurant opened and was greeted in and given a menu. I ordered and waited about 5-10min before recieving a fresh made delicious meal... Loaded chips, Loaded Mac and cheese, curry goat with rice and plantain 😍 and tropical punch. The food was amazing, big portion sizes I was overjoyed. I actually ordered more than I could handle and had to take half home with me but I'll definitely be back again the load fries were magnificent, jalapenos everywhere gave it so much flavour. I post photos on my WhatsApp story and people where messaging me asking where's the food from lol

Amazing experience at Afrikana!! We had an incredible time at Afrikana. The food was bursting with flavor, the spices were spot on, and the meat was unbelievably tender. Everything tasted authentic and fresh, and the portions were very generous. Even a starter could easily be a full meal depending on your appetite. On top of that, the prices are super affordable for the quality and quantity you get. What truly made the experience unforgettable, though, was our waitress Herman. She was absolutely amazing, kind, attentive, and full of positive energy. Even though the place was understandably packed, she was always there in the blink of an eye whenever we needed anything. She guided us through the ordering process with genuine care and made us feel so seen and welcome. She really went above and beyond to make sure we had a perfect evening. As Dutchies, we felt so warmly welcomed. Herman turned a great meal into an exceptional experience. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Visited Afrikana recently and tried their peri grill chicken - honestly one of the highlights of the meal. The flavour was spot on: smoky, well-seasoned, and with just the right kick of heat. We went for the family platter to share, and it turned out to be a great choice. The portion size was generous, everything was cooked perfectly, and it felt like great value for money. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was friendly throughout. Overall, Afrikana delivered a tasty and satisfying meal, especially if you’re a fan of grilled chicken with bold flavours. Would definitely come back!

I went for the roast beef Sunday roast, and it definitely didn’t disappoint. I came with a friend, and we both agreed it was one of the best roast dinners we’ve ever had , full of flavour with a lovely hint of spice. Washed down with a mocktail each.

10/10! Came here for my mother's birthday with my family and let's just say it was honestly an amazing dining experience! From the atmosphere, to the staff (A big thank you Vivek and his team! 🤩) and of course the food. We had the Kicking in Kenya, Meat you again platters and drinks - they even gave us a little cake for the birthday! Will definitely come back and recommend to you reading this review 😌.
