10/10! Came here for my mother's birthday with my family and let's just say it was honestly an amazing dining experience! From the atmosphere, to the staff (A big thank you Vivek and his team! π€©) and of course the food. We had the Kicking in Kenya, Meat you again platters and drinks - they even gave us a little cake for the birthday! Will definitely come back and recommend to you reading this review π.

The food here was delicious! Highly recommend the jammin jambalaya. The spice levels were perfect for us. We went as a large group so we tried a lot from their menu. All of the food was excellent. Most of the drinks were quite small and mainly just ice. Service was a bit slow, it took a while to get utensils/sauces/water and we were waiting even after the food arrived. They were quite busy.

Lovely family atmosphere, staff were welcoming, warm and friendly. Food was a nice portion that was very satisfying. We order a Sunday roast some had the chicken and some had the beef. Both were equally as nice, the detail, preparation and tastiness and hint of love that went into our meal was most enjoyable. Thank you for a lovely afternoon.

I went to the restaurant for my birthday with friends and our waitress @Florence was incredible. She went above and beyond by helping me choose different options due to my intolerances and was always polite, smiling and ready to quickly answer to our numerous requests. Thank you to the chef as well - the food is 10/10! The taste is amazing and extremely flavourful. Atmosphere is 10/10. For a restaurant that is called Afrikana itβs really embraces African roots, culture and music. This has been my second visit and I will be going again.

I came on a date and immediately we entered the restaurant, I absolutely loved the ambience, scenery, afrobeat song, and I loved that the staff gave us the option of staying downstairs or upstairs, and I love the two big paintings upstairs. The shared platter came after 20 minutes, and every single food was so tasty, we even took takeaway home. The waiter brought the dessert because I requested for it on my booking. My only complain is that the smoothies options were unavailable sadly, so I just had a soft drink.
