Cannot recommend enough. We have been before but not for a good while and a family member reminded us how good the sushi was. We ordered the crab sushi which was honestly the best we've ever had, we regretted not ordering more so next time we will definitely be ordering the larger portion. We also ordered the duck gyoza, this was cooked perfectly with loads of filling and a really good crispy texture, we also ordered some Korean chicken wings which were cooked perfectly with a lot of sauce. For our mains I ordered the orange chicken and upgraded the rice to egg rice. Unbelievable flavours, lovely spice to the orange chicken. Then we also ordered the devil's ramen. It was spicy but was delicious. Cannot fault the whole meal at all. Portions were very generous. Service was brilliant. Staff were welcoming and friendly & we even got to thank the sushi chef personally as it was the highlight of the meal.

We had a wonderful evening at Wanago! The service was excellent; friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. The sushi was absolutely delicious, fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Highly recommended if you're looking for a great sushi spot with a lovely atmosphere!

Absolutely fantastic place to come for food. We came here on a weekend and plenty of space for us. Service was very friendly even recommend certain dishes for us. The food was great too. We got a few mains and starters and all was perfect, freshly cooked and full of flavour. I'll definitely be back here and recommend others too.

Edit: I now realise why there is low reviews. If you want a takeaway: Don't bother, feels like a completely different experience, quality is terrible for everything on the menu (excluding sushi). If you want lovely sushi and some ramen, then go to the restaurant, it's a great experience. We have been to wanago 10+ times, and have even recommended it to multiple friends and family. Do not get a takeaway here, we have been disappointed too many times now. However, I would recommend going in for sushi. Overall this is 2/5 stars based on the experiences we have had to date. We spent £55 on a takeaway that we didn't eat as it was inedible.
