Our first time eating at this restaurant and wow! Came out of the theatre looking for somewhere to eat and virtually next door is this gem. First impressions were, it’s a big, quirky place with strange, unusual décor, like downtown Bangkok I guess, weird things stuck to the walls and hanging from the ceiling, odd bits of corrugated sheeting, posters, pots, lanterns and balloons; a riot of colour, full of interest, and even a boat hanging in the middle! The quirk continued downstairs, interesting seating and an open kitchen which we were lucky enough to be sat right in front of, so we could watch their expert chefs at work. They had a fantastic range of plant-based options, so we were well catered for and spoilt for choice. We went for the pinto menu for two, an easy option, where you can choose a curry type, a stir fry, a special noodle option and a choice of rice, to share. The food was amazing! Absolutely delicious, and plenty of it. The green curry was creamy, spicy and warming. The yummy cashew stir fry was tangy, in a chilli sweet and sour sauce, with veggies and soft tofu cubes. The Pad Thai was moreish, with peanuts and lime on top, and there was loads of fragrant Jasmine rice to soak up the lovely sauces. What a fabulous Thai feast, for under twenty quid a head! The place was really interesting, the food amazing and the service was great… we will definitely be back.

Unfortunately, my experience at this Thai restaurant in Oxford was very disappointing. From the moment we walked in, it felt like we were invisible. It took a long time to even get someone’s attention to place our order. The food arrived in about 20 minutes, which was reasonable, but during that entire wait no drinks were brought to the table. We only received them after repeatedly reminding the waiter. The food itself was average — nothing special, but fine. What really ruined the evening was the service at the end. While we still had more than half our drinks left, the bill was brought without asking. I paid, only to realize I had been overcharged because our bill was mixed up with another table. Although a refund was given, when I asked for a corrected receipt for my records, the waiter came back with the card machine and asked me to pay again. This left me shocked and very uncomfortable. Sadly, after this experience, I don’t think I’ll be returning

Faye & Chef Fon led a brilliant cookery class, where we learnt how to make Pad Thai and Tom Yum soup. Just the right amount of prep, mixed with already prepared ingredients by the kitchen, meant that we learnt at a relaxed pace and enjoyed a delicious self-cooked meal at the end, with a cocktail. Really great value for how much they covered in a 2.5 hour session, really fantastic. Thank you Faye & Chef Fon!

Food was nice. The only thing i want to mention is when i tried to call to book the table they said we are fully booked so you can walk in and wait 30-50 Minutes. When i walked in i waited for 15 min and got a table. Near my table there were alot of empty tables and I wouldn’t say that they were reserved because the restaurant was about to close in 40 min. That was a bit strange for me that they make people to wait. I work in an hotel and always advising my guests to go there and whenever I tried to book online or over the phone it says fully booked. So quite not happy with this. But the food was so lovely and staff was nice just need to be a bit more attentive to their customers.
