Unfortunately it was too delicious 😋 and I could not show the pictures of the actual Hoseki mixed platter as I'd eaten it all. I was planning to have some today and keep some for tomorrow, but it was so easy to eat I simply couldn't resist eating it all to myself. I will definitely be planning on returning soon. We had a Birthday party here last Sunday, and everything was absolutely amazing! From start to finish, the service was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and professional. The food was outstanding—every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how great everything was. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful experience. Highly recommend for any special occasion or just a great meal out. We’ll definitely be back!

In the short amount of time that this place has been running, I think it has gone already incredibly downhill. I received, what I thought was, abysmal service when ordering food from Hoseki yesterday. To start off with: the food took 1 hour and 30 minutes to arrive (we live a 10 minute drive away, so this length of time was by no means due to delivery distance). When placing the order, the restaurant had a 30 minute delivery estimate time. After 25 minutes of receiving no updates nor confirmation of the order being processed, I tried ringing. No response. Spent the next 15 minutes trying to ring until I got through to someone. They did not apologise once for the fact that the order was already late, and when I asked if the food was being cooked I was told it wasn't because they were busy. After asking the new ETA, they said that all orders were delayed by atleast 30 minutes. There was no point of contact made from the restaurant to inform me that they would be busy (only found out after trying to ring them persistently). Once again, they did not even apologise. It was only when I rang again another 30 minutes later asking for a refund did they apologise. 1 hour in and they told me it would take 10 minutes and that they would send me an email to confirm when it was being delivered. 20 minutes later the order came, no email as promised, and the delivery lady apologised. There was no effort whatsoever made from Hoseki to try and rectify any of this. The food wasn't hot, and I thought it tasted rushed and really very mediocre. I really want a refund to be honest, I felt like it ruined my evening plans since I couldn't do anything that I had planned with my partner since we spent so long waiting for the food. We had actually even left an optional tip at the checkout when paying before any of this happened. Regret that now lol. I recommend avoiding this place, sadly.

really enjoyed the food. first time coming here and i got the bento box and it was better than expected. definitely will be coming back and recommending to my friends and family! :)
