East Street by Tampopo Fitzrovia

We stumbled upon this restaurant as it was one of the only places open after the theatre, and I’m glad we did. With so many countries’ cuisines to choose from, we went with the beef rendang roti, nasi goreng and katsu udon soup, all of which hit the spot. Especially given the price, it exceeded expectations. The restaurant was decorated with interesting trinkets and signs from a variety of Southeast Asian and East Asian countries, everything was perfectly curated and made us feel like we weren’t actually sitting in London. Would definitely visit again.

I had a wonderful experience at Tampopo in London. The food was absolutely delicious, with fresh, authentic flavours and beautifully presented dishes. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, ideal for both a casual meal and a special occasion. A special mention must go to Maisha, who looked after us so well. She was attentive, polite and genuinely warm throughout our visit, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Service like that really makes a difference ✨✨ I’ll certainly be returning and would highly recommend Tampopo to anyone looking for excellent Asian food paired with first-class service.
