Little hidden gem! A cozy and warm place and the best burger in Brighton. I visited this place after a long search for a proper burger, and that's what I finally got. A delicious burger, freely sided with fries with a unique taste. The burger tasted juicy and fresh and did not taste dry or old at all. As usual, takeaway test! Absolutely delicious with top quality. I had the chicken burger and my family had beef burgers, which we ended up fighting over the last bits! The place is very clean and offers burgers with seasonal special recipes and even vegan burgers. Highly recommend, thanks Gorgi and his staff.

Easily one of my fav burger place in Brighton. The staff was so friendly and nice. We got Jerk Chicken Burger (9.5/10) & Scotch Burger (7.5/10) Jerk chicken burger was so juicy and delicious. It was spicier than the scotch one. 🍔 🌶️ Definitely going back again. The best part is it’s Halal ✨

this place was delicious, probably the best burger I've had recently, and jerk chicken that rivals what you can make at home. Id personally shoot for a brioche bun but that's nitpicking Owner was also super friendly, 10/10 overall🙏

Have enjoyed food from Moyos since they opened their first place. The passion and attention from here is second to none! Cannot recommend it enough. Quality hot and tasty food served with a smile. Try everything you will not be disappointed! Plantain bites really lush too. Cajun chips fluffy and crunchy. Just the best. And the burgers just wow wow wow!

5☆ — Big lunch done right at Moyo’s (inside The Islingword) First visit and I’m a fan. I came for a proper lunch and had the Soulfoo Philly Cheeseburger with fries — juicy, well-seasoned, and the jerk/cheddar centre is the signature move for a reason. I asked about the plantain bites and the team let me try some on the house (I’m a student, so that kindness meant a lot) — sweet, crispy, perfect with a dip. It’s a family-run setup (two brothers when I visited) with flavours drawing on their time in Zambia, Saudi, and beyond — you can taste the care. They also offer halal options, which is great for friends who need it. Heads-up: they operate inside The Islingword pub in Hanover, so don’t be thrown by Maps, just walk into the pub and you’ll find the Moyo’s van/kitchen at the back. Also, they open around 12:00, but delivery app hours can lag; the guys said they’re fixing that. Next time I’m back for the Jerk Chicken Burger and maybe the wings. Friendly people, great value, big flavours.
