My first trip to London, this location was my first dining stop. Came back again straight from a delayed train. My partner was using a wheelchair and the staff offered to get a ramp for us to get over the single step to enter. There was plenty of seating and they made sure we had space for the chair and luggage. I love the care they take with dietary needs. My partner has a gluten allergy and we’re both vegetarians. The staff all know exactly what’s safe and how it’s prepared. The veggie burgers and delicious, the onion rings are incredible, and the chips are delicious. Can’t wait to go back. An employee was removing holiday decals from the window outside, and having a challenging time. A deliver biker who was waiting for an order to be ready jumped in to help out, and the two worked for ten minutes to get all the sticky decals off. They re-entered the restaurant to a round of applause. It was a very sweet moment that shows the type of community and care there.

I don’t usually enjoy burgers. However, this one is different. The beef burger here is truly the most delicious! I was certainly a regular customer while in London. The beef is so fresh and tasty. It is cooked perfectly. They prepare most of their food from scratch, including hand cutting the fries. You can really taste the difference - it just tastes fresh and delicious.

The staff are friendly and the interior is large and comfortable. I went for the gluten-free Buffalo burger and it was really good; the chicken was crispy, with a generous helping of the sauce. The spice of the buffalo sauce combined with the cool ranch mayo was the ideal combination, adding a creaminess to balance out the spice. The portion size was decent but a little on the smaller side for the money — I managed to finish my meal and I’m a very light eater, so it is possible others could have left hungry. The staff members were both friendly and attentive, and I would return here when in London, even if I’m not catching a nearby train.

First time at a HB (finally). No wait to be seated, just after 6pm. Double smashed cheeseburger was spot on. Good quality beef, cooked just right and not overloaded with trimmings. Solid fries too. Yes, you pay more than at a mass chain but these are good burgers.
