i have ordered from this place many of times yet they have never failed so miserably. Ordering from deliveroo i received the wrong items (missing chicken katsu curry noodles and teriyaki chicken noodles) yet i received these monstrosities that you wouldn’t even feed to your dog or your worst enemy; it was stale, cold, ill prepared, lacking any sauce and it was just utter dreadful.

I’ve been coming here for years, ever since a franchise unexpectedly opened in the East End — they’re usually found more centrally. I always buy in store, and my order is freshly prepared. The experience is consistently good (a steady 4.5/5), except for today. Today, the staff member who served me did so in a way that caught my attention — he wasn’t mechanical; he was courteous, attentive, and somehow forward-thinking. He also fried the prawn katsu perfectly: crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. The prawn katsu are always delightful, but today they tasted more than delightful. I’m not sure whether that was simply a placebo effect from the service, but either way — it worked.

I have ordered through Deliveroo. It was a particularly hot day, so that may have impacted the quality of food. I have received my ordered quite late compared to the time scale given. Sushi was at room temperature, so quite alarming. The food didn't taste fresh at all and the colour was off compared to the usual one delivered. I hope it was just a one off, but I fell sick during the night. Never had a bad experience. It might have been the heat wave, but the food wasn't fresh and gave us a bad stomach.

I particularly like the katsu curry here. I also tried the fried chicken bowl, which was a tad salty but overally decent. The portion is beyond what you pay for. I cannot finish the bowls in one go.
