Woo Tan Scran

Love this chippy, totally vegan. The food is absolutely delicious and the staff are friendly and helpful. We've been a few times now even though it's quite far from our house we dont mind the drive for good food and friendly service

It's just not great.
Ordered a chicken and Donner kebab with optional chips for an extra fee. 80% of my kebab was chips with some of the chicken on top and no Donner at all . How little would I have got if I didn't buy the chips also. Also a tortilla wrap isn't the same as flat bread. I didnt want a chip burrito. I wanted a chicken and Donner kebab on flat bread.
Went to this place when it first opened and I didn't rate it but they were busy and new so I figured they were overwhelmed maybe but it's been a few years now and it was empty so just no excuse for the lack of quality. I've been vegan for 10 years now and as nice as it is to have options now this place won't be an option for me again.

Ordered jackfruit pancakes and salt and pepper box. Jackfruit wasnt cooked in the hoisin sauce (just drizzled on pancake) so had no flavour. And salt and pepper box was soggy and just tasted burnt. Unfortunately didnt enjoy it like i was hoping to.

Ordered on Uber Eats. Portions of Wings, both noodle bowls and prawn toast were small. Tasteless and dry and had to add my own hoisin sauce even though there was meant to be a sweet chilli glaze there wasn’t. Binned it as inedible. Never ordering from here again. Love yous when it was on Lark Lane. Shocking now.

I'm really disappointed writing this; I remember Wootan on Lark Lane and they were incredible, they even catered our wedding which was 10/10, sadly, it seems they have now succumbed to being a little less than average. Its basic food that you can bang together yourself with a salt overload and few other flavours. The staff are great, but the food just isn't worth the calories or the money. Such a shame, they were fantastic, but we won't be going back again.
