Asked if we could sit on the patio and they said yes. They also had told us to order from a kiosk outside which there was none. Then a confusion of our glasses of water were given to the wrong table. When the food came out it looked better than it tasted. I suppose that’s why most of the other tables were only having drinks. I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here ever, it’s mediocre at best, definitely room for improvement.

Unfortunately after eating there recently I wouldn't recommend, on arrival we picked an outside table after sitting there for a while. I caught the attention of a member of staff who told us where to find menus and how to place an order nothing about to point us in this direction beforehand 🤔. Drinks came more or less straight away unlike the food, I noticed people that came and ordered after us were getting there meals before us and was a good while before ours appeared. We'd both ordered Southern Fried Basket well what a big disappointment, both had chicken goujons in a soggy undercooked coating, onion rings not crispy again undercooked. both lukewarm I brought it to the attention of a member of staff Dora. Who told me she'd get somemore chicken cooked and to carry on eating our meal. Well what was edible coleslaw and chips 😔 we'd waited so long my partner carried on eating his. After a while 3 pieces of chicken strips appeared in a bowl by this time chips were cold 😕 Dora came to clear our table and apologised for our experience not her doing. I put it down to kitchen staff with no care and lack of attention to detail, of what they are sending out of the kitchen or inexperienced staff. Dora went to speak to her manager Dora came back and offered us both a drink I wasn't looking for a drink, I was giving feedback on our experience and explained to her eating out these days is a luxury and expensive. People look forward to eating out and substandard meals ruin what should be a nice day out. Even though Dora is a credit to the company, we won't be paying it another visit.

Been west ivy twice now and both times the food didn’t disappoint. My favourite is the hot honey fried chicken flatbread pizza and mocktails are quite nice. Staff are friendly and service is good. Both times we were served by Lucy, she was lovely!

Fantastic food, especially the Festive Burger and Chicken Enchalada. Great staff, very friendly, helpful and make the West Ivy Experience a reason to re visit. Would like to thank Aims in particular as she's always very welcoming and provides the best service. Look forward to our next visit. Lisa and Jo xx
