I came across The Grubfellas thanks to its high rating—which honestly made me curious enough to place my first order. It didn’t feel like just luck, so I gave it a try… and then another… and then a third. This review reflects my thoughts after three separate orders. In the photo, you’ll see my go-to picks: the Knockout Toastie, Salted Skin-On Fries, and Chicken Tenders. I’ve also tried the Oklahoma Cheeseburger and Classic Chicken Burger before. While the burgers were decent, they didn’t particularly stand out—I’ve had better before. The Knockout Toastie, however, is the star of the show. It’s a unique item, both in concept and taste, and definitely worth ordering just for itself. That said, the chicken tenders didn’t quite meet expectations. They lacked the texture and appearance you’d expect from a chicken tender—not enough coating, and not deep-fried as they seem in photos. The fries were a bit undercooked if you ask me and didn’t quite deliver on the skin-on promise either. Due to these details, I’m deducting two points for food but with the rest, my overall rating comes to a strong 4 stars. Still, I’d absolutely recommend trying the Knockout Toastie.

Had some guests here from London for the boxing in Manchester. Ended up at this food kitchen and was absolutely banging. 10/10. Pictures don't do justice cos of lighting. The dips were all spot on. Service was top notch. The brother even threw in a couple of brownies which blew our socks off! Highly recommended

An amazing place for some quality food. Parked on the side street and visited with my nephew. We got two meals, beaf and chicken which they happily cut in half so we can try each. The chicken was very clean and succulent, well marinated and served in a soft bun with diced onions and pickles. The cheese burger was cooked to perfection with a balance of sauces that enhanced the flavour. Overall good experience and will be visiting again.

First of all the food was delicious and very filling. Visited Grubfellas for the first time to collect an order for my family, and I had the pleasure of being assisted by Jordan. From the moment I walked in, he was friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful. He took the time to explain the different sauces (which were quite a few and all delicious by the way), and when there was a small mix-up with one of the sandwiches, he clarified it right away without any fuss. What really stood out was his attention to detail, he noticed there was only one drink with quite a few burgers and kindly asked if I wanted to add more, and mentioned he put in 3 spoons for the brownie dessert which I appreciated. My only suggestion would be to add more brownies into the dessert. Jordan also made some nice conversation while I waited, which made the whole experience feel welcoming and personal. It’s not often you come across genuinely good service like that. A great first impression of Grubfellas, thanks to Jordan!
