I recently had the pleasure of visiting Syria Sweet on Wimslow Road in Manchester, and it was a delightful culinary experience. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed by the warm and inviting atmosphere, reminiscent of a traditional Syrian bakery. The highlights of my visit were undoubtedly the delicious pastries and desserts. The baklava was perfectly flaky with just the right amount of sweetness and nutty filling. I also tried the kanafeh, which was a heavenly combination of crispy layers and a smooth, cheesy filling. In addition to the incredible array of sweets, the customer service was exceptional. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, eager to explain the variety of options and make recommendations based on my preferences. Moreover, the prices were quite reasonable considering the quality and authenticity of the desserts. It’s evident that each item is prepared with care and a passion for sharing Syrian culture through food. If you're in Manchester and seeking a sweet treat that offers both a cultural experience and delectable flavors, Syria Sweet is a must-visit destination on Wimslow Road.

The staff and ingredients are amazing, and the people are super generous! You ask what's in the sweets or baklava, and they're like, "Just try it and tell us!" All the sweets are made with good pastry, aged butter, and nuts. Amazing guys! God bless you. I go there whenever I can since I moved to Liverpool. I just got my stock today, and I'll see you next time. Oh, and by the way, you HAVE to get the pistachio maamoul.

We got these yesterday, and they taste and look old and very dry. We were told they were made only with pistachios, but that’s not the case. While the big chunks are pistachios, the rest appears to be walnuts dyed with green food colouring. I am allergic to walnuts, so this is very concerning. Very disappointed

The best baklava in Manchester, beautiful shop with lovely staff with wide variety of selection which is freshly prepared. They’re accepting corporate and occasional personalized request. I’d suggest everything to give a try and worth taking one quotation for your needs. Good luck Team Syrian Sweets!
