My husband and I visited today for the first time and had an absolutely incredible experience! We both ordered the Surf Box with lobster tail and king prawns — the food was outstanding. Everything was fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. The service was friendly and the atmosphere really welcoming. Can’t wait to go back!

Place looks lovely and cozy. Really enjoyed the food here, so tasty and very good amount for the price! Would Highly recommend!

We travelled to Manchester for a day out and decided to eat at Soul and turf. We thoroughly enjoyed our food. The Mac and cheese was delicious, the gizzard and Dodo were soft spicy sweet. The meat and seafood was tender and seasoned well. The jollof Rice was okay but better with the pepper sauce. The only thing that let it down was the drinks on the menu were limited for example they Didn’t have zobo. But due to everything else, I would definitely be back.

Bit of mixed feelings here. I really wanted to enjoy this place but had a strange experience. Prawns were absolutely delicious, Mac and cheese was okay, chicken wings and plantain were served stone cold…. The wings could have been delicious too!! Staff weren’t too happy to see people… was hoping for a bit of soul but I felt a bit of a hindrance being there.

Honestly not impressed, when we walked in, the staff were not happy to see us, we were seated and waiting for 10-15 mins for someone to take our order. When we went to the till we tried telling the staff we were ready but she couldn’t hear us as she had earphones in, when she finally saw us, she put a finger up signalling “1 minute” we waiting until another member of staff came (another 10 mins) and that member of staff saw we were waiting and continued filling containers with salad and ignoring us. Deffo not coming again. we drove 2 hours for this place and wasted time and petrol.
